Thanks, Arg, I wondered about the parking...good info but bad news. And, according to Google Maps, I have a 3 hour, 15 minute drive to make it to the parking lot.

I'm going to take a drive by the course before heading to the public parking area. There may be some paid parking closer. To beat the morning rush hour, I have to head out before sunrise. It's going to be a long day.

In Gee Chun will be more than happy to see you when she finishes her round at 8:00 PM and you're the only spectator.

Actually, In Gee will be in the (late) morning wave on Friday, teeing off at 9:30 am. The late start pretty much guarantees that I won't be able to follow an afternoon group for their full 18 holes. I'll likely follow Lydia, Lexi, and So Yeon for a few holes at 8:00 am, head over to the 10th tee to watch Hee Young for a few holes, and then fall back to pick up In Gee's group. After her round I'll pick up Danielle, Inbee, and Ariya on their back nine.

It's hard to pick a winner on this one. A large number of players are playing excellent right now. There are also a bunch of top players that have been "struggling" lately, but are certainly capable of getting back in gear. I expect Inbee, Brooke, Minjee, So Yeon, Lexi, Ariya, and Moriya to be in the hunt.

Kind of a slap in the face that Minjee, Sung Hyun Park and In Gee aren't paired with higher ranking pros.

Dame Laura and Aza better wear some hard helmets in case Juli throws some more clubs this week.

Huge slap in the face, certainly for Minjee who has been doing very well this year. I know SHP and In Gee are a little out of form (for them), but a 2:40pm for In Gee?!? Does this matter to the player at all? Maybe some like early/late tee times? I know the course changes throughout the day and get easier/more challenging. But dang, this really does seem harsh. Anyone know why this may be the case?

Keep fans around longer.

Ugh. The public parking lot is 9 miles away, which is roughly a 20 minute trip. WTF.

Stop your crying/whining.....the shuttles at Shinnecock took over 2 hours....just drive around the course and see if there is any residential parking.....fortunately for the men's and women's tour events here....I've been able to park my car and walk 10 minutes to the event....less hassles.

No Nasa Hataoka? She's going to win again, and maybe sooner than expected.

I'm sure she'll win again soon, but back to back wins is tough, especially a major.

Quote of the year. When asked what she thinks "KPMG" stands for. Aditi Ashok answered when she was a kid, she thought it stands for "Keeping Phil Michelson Great".

https://twitter.com/...063014139277312

The more important question is:

Who is the stout blonde interviewing Aditi?

I guess the acronym FIGJAM never made it back to India.

Trugravity and Arg...if you want Dumbo to make the Korean Int'l Crown team....you two better not show up empty handed and give In Gee a lucky charm gift and fanboy her...she'll need more support than the 10 Flying Dumbo's who show up.

KBong, sadly, I have no gift for In Gee but am hopeful of following her for her front nine tomorrow. I have a drawing for Jess Korda and will try to get one for In Gee, albeit next year.

Arg...please give us back a report if Olympia Fields or Kemper is a harder course and why?

And if you had to decide...which club you'd prefer to be a member.

Do you know the approx. initiation of each?

I've played both courses, Olympia Fields North 3 years ago and Kemper Lakes a number of years ago, so before the renovation. I'm not sure how much Kemper has changed and I liked the course but I loved the OF North layout.

The way Nasa's been playing this year, it's hard to bet against her. As usual, I'm rooting for Wie & Danielle

Given all the love for In Gee I'm just musing on the "likeability factor" of newer players like Nasa. SHP has some kind of likability factor given her obvious horde of followers, but "likability" can be very hard to define. It's not just "smiley and friendly" or even good looking. It's a much more subtle thing. I "like" Amy Yang and Inbee for instance, though I couldn't say why except I like the way both swing. We've already discussed why Brooke is so "likeable" for instance, and we all have players we're rooting for. So far I'm finding Nasa very likeable. Don't know how others feel about her.

Love me some LPGA.....

I will be rooting for my normal favorites this week, Brooke, Sung Hyun, So Yeon, In Gee and JY Ko.

I would love to see In Gee win, and make that team.

Have played both courses as well as would go with OF just because of the 2 courses.
