I didn't see an issue when using this ball and a fine point sharpie. Seems my marks are fine for the 18 holes I might keep the ball in play for. I don't however run my ball through the ball washer every hole. I clean it every hole with just a towel and water/spit.

Funny story, I hit one in the water going for a par 5 in two. Didn't look for it since I thought it flew the water. Next day, my buddy spotted a guy in our golf trip playing a cut blue ball and he looked closer and it had my marks on it. My marks are unique (baseball seams in red around the numbers). He continued to play the ball and gave it to me after the round. I lost the ball on the 15th hole. He said he found it in the water on that hole. So 15 holes, in the water for at least 30 minutes, played for another round or more and my marks were still there.

I couldn't be happier with my Cut Blues, I still have a few TP5 left over from the end of last year, but they have been slowly slipping to the bottom of the ball pocket. I absolutely love hitting little low skippers with this ball.

Okay, I'm going to just add to this and make a semi-full review. I've been playing the Cut Blues since last April. I have a trial sleeve of the Greys that still need to be tested, but The Blues so far are the real deal for me. A little background, I'm a 9 hc (was as low as 6 before I got married), avg driver swingspeed a hair over 100 mph, and primarily hit a fade. Before I started using Cuts, I was testing the TP5, and before that was using either the Srixon Z-Star or XV.

My home course is a links style track near the beach, so afternoons tend to get very gusty. My absolute favorite aspect of this ball is the greenside feel and spin. My last non-tournament round at my home course, I chipped in for birdie and had four up and downs from about 30 yards and in where I felt like I could take dead aim and land the ball a little further on than I normally would, and the ball responded beautifully with check. From the mid irons up until the driver, they perform great, just as any other premium ball. I will say, contrary to what others have commented on here, I have not experienced a distinctly higher flight with this ball, and I'm a high ball hitter normally. For me, the flight seemed to be slightly lower with the driver than the TP5 I was playing previously. Off the irons, I didn't notice much difference in flight between the two. Going back to chipping/pitching, that is actually where I noticed the biggest difference in trajectory. The Golf Digest chart got it right, this thing flies low and has ZIP! Launches noticeably lower than all the other balls I tested other than the XV.

Overall, I really love this ball, and it's my gamer for the foreseeable future. Only thing that could make it better is maybe a yellow version? hint, hint, Cut. But seriously, everyone on here should give this ball a try, it's solid and needs to get some attention.

I know they Grey’s are supposed to be softer but I feel like the Blue’s are for me. The Blue just feels right to me

Interesting. For me, just the opposite. Blue felt very clicky and hard and Grey was much more to my liking (i.e. softer and not clicky).

What a ball

Played the Cut Blue vs. my B300 RX & KSig 4-piece for the first time today. My home course is a desert course lined with houses and pools so OB can easily mean broken window.

Par 5 dogleg right.. step up with driver and stripe the BRX on an aggressive line..it balloons into some poor old ladies' pool. K Sig same thing.

Pull out the Cut, fully expecting it to exit the course like the last two. Almost identical swing... Cut Blue comes out significantly lower but still spinning a bit. Stays in the fairway

skulled the second shot but it stays in play

Get up to the third 90yds away, SW, water long and right. flush it to the back pin location. ball comes out low again and I'm thinking here goes another skipper into the water...

it bites harder than a shark on an Instagram model and comes back to the pin.

After a few more holes I realize this is absolutely a ProV1X without the gimmicky commercials and packaging. I am sold.

Finally have a couple rounds in the with the Grey. Usually shoot anywhere from low 80s to low 90s. Have never really payed to much attention to the ball I’m using. Trying to focus a little more on that and find something cheap but still good quality.

My driver is a mess so I used mostly 3 wood off the tee. Hit a few deep balls. Distance was up there with anything else I’ve ever played. Like the feel on the irons. Don’t play a lot of spin and liked how they performed with the wedges. Also like the feel paired with my Spider on the greens.

Never done a ball review before so sorry this isn’t very detailed. Like I said, just now starting to pay attention to this part of my game. Think I’ll be sticking with the Grey for some time with them being under $20.

Played the blue today for first time.

Looks - not as important but it is a catagory many pay attention to; Nice font and ball alignment aid. Shiny look like surlyn ball is a little off putting compared to other 4 piece balls. Overall pretty decent, if they can kill the sheen on the blues it would be much better.

Pros - The ball felt very good off drivers and irons with excellent distance. The spin was ideal to me, NOT the prov1 overspin but very predictable slight backup or hop and stop. Skip shot works perfectly with this ball around greens and solid on putter. I could flight it well and held its line well.

Cons - besides the sheen giving it a cheaper look, this ball really held its own. Im a TP5/XV player and I really enjoyed this ball. At that price all the time - well done

Im your typical Wrxer btw 120 swing speed, 1hcp 6'2 220. This ball had no issues with me at full speeds driver or irons
