New tools going in the bag. Went with F grind on the 52 Vokey and M grind 56. Also have had this backup green dot engage that I was saving. Not very many produced. Has a dual sole on a TS head. Low bounce. Still debating to put it in the bag or save for my son.

The boy can fend for himself :)

Swapped the 44.5 Dual Core in the m3 and put a 45 playing length Dual Core in it. Brought swing weight up to D4... different animal. Wow. I’m so confused how. This might beat the Ping lol

This one is the TX version not offered by Ping.

 

IMO this shaft feels excellent. Easy to load but I think a tad too much spin for me.

Above was the difference between the m3 with the dual core in it and the ping with the XTORSION copper TX. M3 wins... on to the next shaft in the PING... I have a Synergy Black coming.... :)

Have you tried the even flow black? I finally took my m3 with the 75 6.5 tipped .5” and playing at 45”. It’s a winner for me

Hows the Artisan putter treating you? I know putters are boring cause changing them doesn't happen often but curious how its been?

 

Loving mine 2 rounds in with it since picking it up Tuesday.

It’s back at Artisan getting tweaked. I experimented with a S neck. Big mistake. The S neck causes you to be further away from the ball. I couldn’t putt with it to save my life. I told John about it and we talked about the angle of the shaft being different. My son loves his. Putts great with it. So he is going to tweak the hosel for me and and change the grip. Note to self, just stick to standard plumbers bucket hosel. I roll my sons great. Feedback is off the charts good. But with mine I was getting the wrong feedback lol. But damn that’s customer service from Artisan to let me send it back for a refresh

For sure.... Im loving mine as well. The feedback and feel is the best I have ever had, and I am really noticing a huge difference on longer putts. I am putting long putts very close to the hole and alot of that has to do with the feel and weight on the putter it swings so nice for me.

I went with a normal sized grip as well and think I need something just a tad bigger.

I’m actually headed there now lol. I’ve been seeing some nice sets on eBay. Hard to find some in excellent condition. But they are out there. Guys usually beat the VR Pros to death.

The VR line from top to bottom was excellent. Unfortunately they stopped listening to whoever was responsible for them and went full Volt and destroyed Nike golf. I still play the VR Pro LTD 3 wood along with newer stuff.

Testing it Sunday. I don’t want to add weight unless I like the shaft. It’s at d1 right now. Probably take it to d4. I remember the M3 I have I had to add 10 grams of hotmelt but it performs ENTIRELY different with the proper weight in the head. I expect the same with this Ping Fairway.

New Gamers. Soft stepped x100. Standard lofts built to TWs length and swingweight. These are so legit. Nike should have never went away from these heads. Didn’t paint fill the Nike stuff. Only repping my initials. Incognito. These were built by Artisan and he heads stamped and reworked by Mike Taylor.

Some changes for the better. Threw a Tensei White 100TX untipped into the UDI. Wow different beast. Higher flight and much different than the HZRDUS crap it came with.

 

Also threw a Tensei Orange 80TX in the PingG400 fairway. Played decent at D1 but hotmelted it to D3.5 and my goodness. I don’t think my bag has ever been this good.

 

G400LST with Tour AD DI is my travel bag driver that I’ve been messing with and I forgot how great this driver is!
