Miura 1957 series clubs discontinued?

Stopped by the Miura website to have a look. Seems that all the 1957 Series clubs are no longer listed for sale! Considering their conservative business plan, I am surprised they would discontinue these. Why not just add to the product line?

 

Glad I just bought the CB57 irons to match my 1957 series wedges.

Brian - I just built a new set of Baby Blades with Aerotech Steelfiber 110's!

Just finished the build last night, although 4 through Pw for me.

 

I jut don't have enough horsepower in me to play a 2-iron.

Miura is not stocking “legacy” product anymore. It’s possible to get it by special order or on the rare occasion they do a run (likely stimulated by some degree of special order).

this is disappointing news. I was hoping to one day replace my bbs with new bbs once I wore them out. thank goodness I bought the 2 and 3 irons recently.

Great sticks! ... You may want a 47 / 48 / or 49° Wedge to pair with them in place of the set matching PW. I found the center of gravity on the PW to be very low, but could just be me.

I had been playing Wishon 560 mc irons which are considered a game improvement forged cavity back iron for 5 years. I find the CB57 slightly less forgiving on miss hits , but not by much. They feel much more solid on a well struck shot. They are a degree stronger than the Wishons but are 1/2 to 1 club length longer. Honestly I would be happy playing either. Just love the look and feel of the CB57. Figured now was the time to buy before they go bye bye.

The Wishon 560s have been discontinued also

I actually got a spare 9 wedge the other day

 

My spare set is now Wishon 870 5.6,7 560 8,9,wedge

 

I am set for ever now!

I spoke to my local Miura dealer and he said he has been getting conflicting answers. He just received 10 new sets on baby blades and 7 new baby blade 2i heads.

about a year ago when news that Miura was sold to whoever, i had a hunch that the legacy stuff will soon disappear and a whole new line of crap will be brought out every 3 months

Miura/MG was never sold - it was the rights as to who would sell them in the US market!
