New TM UDI

The weight port is a much needed upgrade. The P790 UDI are so light it was impossible to get a normal swingweight with them.

False. I'm at D3 with just a little bit of lead tape. Playing DG 120, standard length.

Not false, i ordered two brand new from TM, PX LZ 6.5 steel and Hzrdus black. Both stock, both C9 SW. Also, others have experienced the exact same issue

None of the YouTube reviewers (Rick Sheils and the like) mentioned anything about it feeling too light in their reviews. They all rave about it and say it's amazing. TM's website also lists the stock swing weight as D2 with a 40" HZRDUS 85g shaft. Just a bunch of weekend warriors on a golf message board seem to be the only complains. Idk, man.

Or + handicaps who are also experienced club builders.....Weekend warriors dont post on golf message boards btw. You seem to have no clue about where your are

Also, RS has zero clue about clubs and specs. He literally plays things off the rack. His Wilsons have the stock shafts, every wedge he has ever played is the stock setup, his 3w bone stock. He puts the same Rogue silver in every driver he plays. He wouldnt have the first clue about swingweight.

You talk a lot for a person who is sitting on such a high horse, the oxygen levels must be very low.

My UDI that I ordered from TM with the HZRDUS shaft was C6.5 swing weight. I ordered it a 1/2 inch short and it should have been C9 if it was to specs. I reshafted mine with a Tensei White 90tx hybrid shaft and I had to add a 4 gram tip weight and a piece of lead tape to get it to D0. Some of the heads are extremely light.

Mine is stock shaft, midsize grip, D1 but is .75" long. The heads are definitely light.

Right!.+.75 should be 4.5 SW points heavy.

Not on any horse. You compared me/us to weekend warriors and dismissed my claims b/c RS and others didnt comment on their youtube channels about it being light. Many of us here would wax RS on a golf course and on the club making bench. Thats not bragging, simply a fact. Stop being dismissive and move along if you have nothing to add. Read the posters that commented above. Clearly the heads are very light!

You said "impossible". So, false. There may be several situations where people have gotten really light swing weights, but it's not certain. I had the stock hzrdus black in mine before I switched out the shaft and it wasn't C9 like yours. It was around D1. Reshafting with the DG 120 made it D2. I then added some lead tape to get to D3. I have my own swingweight scale and have verified it's accuracy with a local club fitter. So, not "impossible".

Fair enough. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're coming across as very pompous. And the fact that calling you a weekend warrior, when you're clearly a very skilled golfer, screams of having too much ego, and not enough humility. Lighten up, buddy.

Hey, if it's light, it's light. I have my stock 2 UDI coming in next week. If it's not playing at a D2 swing weight like the TM's site claims, their customer service line will be receiving a phone call from me. I'm also looking at a 105 gram shaft on eBay that's cheap and might swap out if the HZRDUS isn't enough.

His analysis of RS is spot on though. Guess I’m riding a similar clysdale. Views nice from up here and oxygen levels are ok too

Now I need to know if the shaft tip will be the same as the rescue tip. Got a few options to throw in there.

TM’s adjustable UDI, it’s going to be sweet!

I hope they steer away from the green... That said, if it performs and feels anything like the TP UDI or 790 UDI... This will be giving the Cobra Utility a run for it's $$$$ Money.

Me too man, I am not a fan of the green either. I heard there may be a couple different versions of this club, players and a GI version. I guess we will see very soon.

This is the reason I'm interested. Having the adjustable hosel and weight options would be fun to tinker with.

But right now I am one of the few guys that absolutely love the M2 LIFT Driving iron over the UDI as it has just perfectly fit into my bag and has far exceeded my expectations of what a driving iron could do for my game. I'm kind of hoping for the same reasons that some of the people are complaining about its size and such that this might be another winner for me.

does the base not look fatter?

Its massively fatter.

More like a hybrid then driving iron.

yes looking at the pic, I looks closer to a hybrid than iron to me.

Very happy with my p790 UDI, sad it kicked out my Vapor Fly Pro 2 iron.

Cobra has had theirs out for a while but they don't market their clubs so i'm interested to see how TM does.

Looks good. My builder had issues bending my UDI. Maybe we could dial this in better.
