I'm pretty sure I made the point of him holding the cavs hostage by signing those 1 and 1 deals but was called a lebron hater.

 

For all his greatness his contribution to the Cavs salary cap hell and the departure of kyrie is his doing. Cavs got a championship out of it but he left them with nothing the 2nd time around.

Just enough to get 1st or 2nd. They already have the regular season record. They straight chasing another ring. Years of deep playoff runs takes a toll out after awhile.

The warriors won’t burn themselves out to try and win 70+ wins anymore. For all the talk about Boogie coming there he likely won’t even play until January or February so his addition won’t add any more or less to their win total. I’d say they should be somewhere in the mid-60’s

It would be interesting to see the crowd reaction in Toronto if that happened though. I'm not sure it would go over well.....Derozan is beloved, he is the first homegrown guy to develop into an allstar and re-sign. He has said all the right things, has talked about Toronto being his second home etc...And he has earned his right to say he is the best player in franchise history.

 

It's kind of like a Curry/Durant thing. The Raptors are Demar's team more than Lowry's or anyone else. He's been there since he was a raw prospect from USC who advanced scouts called a chucker, he was there through the dismal Rudy Gay years.

 

I want Demar to finish his career as a Raptor more than i want them to make the finals or contend. He has a chance to the first real Raptor through and through

But the best young prospect on the Raptors is probably Pascal Siakam. Many people believe if he develops a jumpshot he could really be something. Zach Lowe is on record as saying he thinks he could one day be an allstar
