Just picked up a Cleveland Huntington Beach #6 - face balanced, center shaft. I don't know what Lamkin grip is on this thing stock, but it's magic, putterhead releases wonderfully.

First combo like this for me since my original Odyssey 2 ball which I putted oh so well with.

What the hell have I've been thinking for the last 15 years?

I give it three weeks......

Four weeks & still going strong!

Well, the honeymoon ended; the putter is currently in time-out with a few of it's brethren.

I seemed to be manipulating the hands / arms on the backstroke, trying to maintain a SBST stroke - result being an erratic forestroke. Kind of a two-way miss with the putter, a true train wreck.

This is not a knock on the Cleveland putters - in fact, the #6's replacement is a #10 Cleveland, albeit one inch shorter. Pretty similar to the NC Sub 30 / 30 putter that I used for a few seasons before moving on to something else.

Let's see if this one makes it past Labor Day...

my first DASS. Bettinardi sells out SO fast. Didn't think it was that popular. I was pleasantly surprised

Wow, that is crazy nice work! On a side note, can't believe Bettinardi has just about hit circle T pricing. You put that side by side with a super rat and it's no comparison to me. That cnc'd head is out of this world! Enjoy.

Circle T is still top of the cream but I personally prefer Betti over Scotty circle T. I'm voting with my wallet. :)

Just grabbed this guy...not sure I'll actually it use though, I think my stroke works better with a flow neck... this is a Ping BeCu Anser 4 in LH...a little more difficult to find.

I’m not Colombo but pretty sure that’s an Anser 2, not a 4. Anser 4 has a flow neck... and the fact that it says Anser 2.

Went to an Edel fitting on Saturday at their HQ in liberty hill(about 25 minutes from my house). I honestly couldn't discount all the rave reviews about their putter fitting process that I read here. I could not believe how changing lines/dots and putter shape had such a dramatic affect on setup.

I got fit into an E1 with two lines on the back portion and one in the center on the topline. Their round grip felt really weird but when I was putting to the string, on Jaret's first try with the grip weights, I dropped 4 balls that tapped into the ball in front of them on their last roll right at the string. It was such a strange feeling with that much weight in the grip but the putter felt incredibly stable and I could not get the damn thing to go offline.

After the fitting we went over to this rack of putters that were ready to be sent out. He showed me all the different finishes and I couldn't really pick. I liked the black with white lines. I like the gold finish a lot, but couldn't find an accent color I liked with it. After 10 minutes of grumbling he pulled me aside and said he wanted to show me something. On this little table in the corner were three putters laid on a rack with their epoxy drying. He said, "we technically aren't supposed to be selling this yet, but we have a red finish coming in September, and these are the three test models we made for a product photo shoot, what do you think of these?"

It was love at first sight. Red, with white paint-fill on the alignment lines, and black/white paint-fill for the Edel logo. Absolutely beautiful. And believe it or not, he said he would allow me to get that along with an upgrade to the white/red/black head-cover for free.

So in a couple weeks here I will be the first person to own an Edel torque-balanced e1 with a red finish(They had allowed one other person to pre-order it, but with time of shipping, I will be the first one to have it as I can pick up directly from the shop). I will post pictures when it comes in.

Argolf Pendragon at 34.5/70 with SuperStroke Countercore Mid Slim 2.0 (no counterweight used).

https://www.argolfusa.com/product/pendragon-mallet-milled-putter/ for pics. I went with light blue paint fill - calm color and shows up well against black.

405g head weight!

Really feels superb on strike - probably the best I have felt even though it is milled from aluminum. Head is not crazy large as you may think.

Don't know what they did, but, the head does not feel heavy to me - a real smooth glide with my slight arc verging on SBST stroke. Very well balanced.

Great alignment.

Gets rolling fast and rolls tight to the green. Speed seems good.

Early days, but, very pleased with it at present.

Just got custom fit at EVNROLL HQ and it was awesome! I did the standard roll board fitting which lasted about an hour. Justin was my fitter and he took his time getting everything perfect. The fitting is complimentary with putter purchase, but you can also have the optional Quintic fitting if you want a more in depth fit with data to ultra fine tune your stroke for $100.

I ended up with the ER1.2 TourBlade 370g Head, Length 34.5”, Loft 4 Degrees, Lie 68.5 Degrees, 100g Pistol Midsize Grip, Swingweight E1

I recently got one of those lefty Dalehead-shaped ones they churned out in the early 70's after the move to Phoenix. Bronze that's has patina'd all the way to jet black, with the thing we call a "sound slot" nowadays but It think Karsten called it "floating face".

Putts real good! Might even replace the 45-year-old original grip with a fresh Pingman before this weekend's rounds.

P.S. Guess I ought to use a regular Pingman with the white lettering rather than the Blackout...Tiger hadn't been born yet when my putter was made...
