Wearing golf clothing off the course.

99% of my golf shirts are plain Peter Millar with a simple club logo and are definitely work appropriate. I only wear natural material slacks and thus they can do double duty (however most of my golf is played in moisture wicking shorts).

 

Ironically my jeans are my most expensive items of clothing (other than suits/outerwear) and they are not golf and not really work appropriate.

Golf clothes on the course only for me. Once in a while I’ll wear my golf shorts and a tee shirt if it’s blazing and humid out, but never wear golf polos out.

 

And I think I'm the only one on here who wears jeans like twice a year... in the winter.

 

No you're not. I don't own a pair of jeans, nor would I ever wear a pair as an adult.

 

Jeans are all anyone wears anymore lol. I haven't worn a pair of khakis in 5+ years and that includes the office.

I wear my hats and 1/4 zips off the course. I'm usually a t-shirt guy and jeans guy that has plenty of both so that I don't have to wear my golf clothes out. The only time I would wear golf gear other than on a golf course is if rush home after a round and then take my dog for a walk.

 

I do find it funny the people that go shopping at a golf store wearing golf clothes. I've seen people walk in with golf shoes on as well.

 

My daughter has always laughed anytime she’s gone into PGA SS with me.....she says everyone in there is dressed exactly the same. Shorts, polo, ball cap.

I think the jeans with golf shirt is a terrible look especially in the office. 
 

I am thinking of buying some golf pants for everyday wear though. During summer all I wear are golf shorts, transitioning back to jeans reminded me how uncomfortable the slim fits they all seem to be nowadays are.

I posted this three years ago lol. I still mostly wear jeans (with untucked button downs), but I have started to incorporate some five pocket tech pants; some of which I can also wear on the course.

Unless I am wearing a suit, which with COVID is far less frequent, i generally wear lululemon pants or jeans. If I am going to the office, it’s the commission or abc pants. I also golf in those pants.

I do as much as possible. I like wearing polos and if I can some sort of slacks or golf shorts. Never know if Im gonna hit the driving range or play 9 holes. Never an excuse that I am not dressed for it.

Like I mentioned during shorts season all I wear are golf shorts and they are very comfortable so figured I could maybe go with golf pants in the winter. I live in the midwest, I tried on a few golf pants the other day, travis matthew etc. and I don't think they will keep me warm enough in mid winter to wear most days. They are like workout pants thin but they should be I guess. 

 

Will just have to find some more comfortable jeans/pants.

I wear quite a bit of my quarter zips and cashmere sweaters on and off the course. They are mostly RLX and Greyson so I think they work well in both settings. During the summer, I'll wear my Greyson Montaux pants to the office as well. I have some "louder" patterned polos that I'll only wear on the course though.

Polos, khakis and 1/4 zips all the time. Except the weekends if not playing. Then either shorts and a tee, or colder months sweats and sweatshirt

LOL. I'm an old head and soccer coach so those training pants and a hoodie (not those fashionable ones either. play cotton or whatever we got the the team this year)
