I had this confirmed 100% today.... Mike Taylor from Artisan Golf DID build Tiger's new wedges from scratch for him. This is how it played out.... TaylorMade hired Mike to not only do the grooves, but to build Tiger's wedges then Mike sent Tiger the bill, Tiger paid the bill directly to Mike and then TaylorMade reimbursed Tiger. This might make that set of wedges the most expensive set of wedges ever made because it was not a small bill.

You guys can argue with me and say anything you want, but this is fact, it came from the person who actually paid the bill, so, it's a FACT and I'll leave it at that! :swoon:

Tiger paid a bill? Now you lost me. I was going for it until that...

Kidding...keep the info flowing speedster. As another poster said, your stuff going all the way back to the BSG days is gold...much appreciated!

Thanks, these kids here don't get it... there are people here that just might be in TW's inner circle, but I might not be posting here too much longer. I post about his Orange Tensei weeks before the Masters and get lambasted for not citing sources there too LOL, just maybe TW is my source ;).

well if, and this is a huge if, as in if we never landed on the moon kinda huge if. If, you are in Tigers "inner circle". given his track record for dealing with inners, that get public and start name dropping. You will not be there much longer.

peace.

If it is true then you probably owe the dude an apology for dismissing him so out of handedly.

Actually, they were done by Muira and then covered up to look like Taylormade MG wedges.

I'd expect nothing less from Tour equipment - 99.99999% probably at the limit of what's legal. Grooves, cor etc. It would make a 1 yard, 1 foot or 1 inch difference vs retail. :D

Although many believe the story that Tiger got access to 27 kamakura period samurai swords and used that steel for the blanks and had them done by Hanzo, they are mistaken. The metal comes from Hanukana era Katana swords as this is Tigers preferred stock.

My brother in law does them at Northrop’s skunkworks satellite facility near Groom lake.

Obviously the process used is semi automatic and done in a deep vacuum chamber with a pro tonic reversal method. It’s quite dangerous crossing those nuclear accelerator streams thus it is done deep underground.

Initially there were problems with this process and several swords were lost into wormholes.

While Tiger has experimented with transparent aluminum cores he found them less reliable.

My brother in law also mentioned the selenium counterweights. He is on his death bed or he would never have revealed this.

I know, those babyfaced kids and those idiotic posters makes me want to bang my head on the wall. Apparently, they do not know the source as well as you do. All the way from old BSG days.

No wonder so many very reputable oldtimers has left thanks to those rude naysayers. I might be one of them.

Is driving 60 in a 60 MPH zone pushing the limit and barely legal?

Probably over because there is a good chance you arent driving actually 60, more like 60.2 or 60.3 mph. I can see it now, "Your honor I didn't know I was driving 60.3mph."

His response, "Don't care, amount over 60, plus court costs. Total will be $100.30. Good Day.... Next!"
