I believe he actually tried to slim down, and lost his game, then tried to get it back but it just wasn’t the same. But I heard that years ago (>4 years ago?).

I believe both Pettersson and Parnevik have five PGA Tour wins and Stenson has six that count as PGA Tour wins.

 

He did loose weight and lost his game, gained the weight back and got his game back too. But yes that was a while ago.

 

The anchor ban was a big hit, but being 40 and not in the best shape can’t help either. Seems he’s not strong at anything now, so it’s not just the putting. It’s sad, I like him a lot. Hope he surprises me and finds something for another run!
