In the past 3 years or so, I've seen two sets of FG Tour irons in TO. One was played by a sixteen year old kid with a scratch handicap. They must be good clubs, the 5 iron goes as far as my driver.

I know of two people that currently play the Wilson Staff FG 59 irons. One of the most gorgeous sets of blades. Ever. One player lives in Western PA outside of PIttsburgh and the other in Western MD.

I play the new C300 driver...kicks the crap out of the other so-called "forgiving" drivers. And I play FG-51's that make my shovel-swinger friends feel "inadequate".

That is is very good question i play in central NJ an shore area an i see mostly guys don't give a dam what they play, i think we get spoiled on this site cuz most of us know equipment an love to change for the sake of change i do it also but I think most of the golfing public has no idea when it comes to equipment ....Im amazed at what i see in golf bags ,now granted i don't belong to a country club an i know the golfers their are much different ,but if you go to your local course it is a different story FWIW i have wilson V6 IRONS they feel absolutely fantastic they are very underrated

One guy here. Plays circa 1980 Tour Blades occasionally. Former Big Break contestant.

Don't see alot of Wilson play here in Chicago area (exception being DUO balls). I use a Wilson Nexus stand and the south side putter. Also the c300 forged irons look very appealing.

Interesting . My friend walks into a Goodwill Store and buys a set of Ping Eye 2s for 5 dollars. With graphite shafts no less.

Those, my friend, are some fine golf courses. We talk about the trail every time we plan a golf trip but due to some in our group we never get there . They are afraid.

I’m playing a WIlson Staff F5 Fairway and Hydbrid. Rarely see anyone else with Wilson in the bag, the occasional iron set.

Well, let me update my earlier post. My home course was having a competition with another club from Moncton, NB. Saw three Wilson Staff...um...staff bags almost completely filled with Wilson gear.

I have Staff in my bag. Currently have the F5 driver and building a set of v4s. Was playing an F5 fairway as well but TEE kicked it out of the bag.

 

Around here you see all types, its a lower income area so most guys, even the ones with money aren’t buying new clubs. Regularly play with a gentleman that games Eye 2s. I see more uncommon brands/clubs than I see Scottys and new TM drivers

This thread inspired me to put my FG62's back in the bag for a round or two. Also threw in the PMP Raw wedges. FWIW the Raw wedges have a much better feel than the standard PMP. The satin finish feels clickier and harder. Still good but Raw much better.

Seems no matter what I experiment with, my 17s always find their way back in the bag. Awesome sticks that hold their own blade wise!!
