Ping G Max Driver users what loft?

I am wondering what loft is popular for users of the Gmax driver. I purchased one at 9 degrees Are you lofting up or finding the Max is better at lower lofts. I have a regular shaft in mine swing speed in the high 80's

I would think at high 80s you'd want more loft than 9 degrees. I haven't looked at new drivers in a long time, but I'm in mid 90s and use a 10.5 i20 with R flex, seem to get pretty optimal conditions.

I have a 9 degree turned down to an 8 degree at first i was a little worried about ball flight but i thought i would try it i have a GD BB7 shaft in it an it works very well lots of roll out

Shouldn't one consider their usual launch angle besides swing speed?

I've have a pretty mediocre swing speed (about 85) and a pretty horrific launch angle of 18* and sometimes even more, so fitters (and even your regular store reps) have recommended me 10* with either 1* close face or draw driver settings. Also, isn't Ping famous for giving more loft than stated on the driver club anyways?

Find your loft during fitting. If you bought used, experiment till you find the answer. We are all different and although well intentioned, will likely give you bad advise.

I have a 9, but have it set to 10, but I also want a little draw bias and I play a very low launching shaft.

Had a fitting ended with KCage reg set @ 11 straight bombs came from LSTec @ 9.5

Low 90's SS. 10.5 Alta stiff. Only one round but it I was finally keeping up with my buddy and his TM M4.

I have a MAX at 9*, HZRDUS yellow 6.0 76g. I ordered it with a little hotmelt high on the face hoping to cure the sound a tad, which it has but it definitely launches a little lower than a standard 9* head. These MAX heads get the ball in the air nicely. SS 100-105 mph.

From what I was told it all depends on ball speed and launch angle. Slower swing speed and higher lofts is only a starting point. Sometimes higher swing speeds are required to deal with the backspin generated by higher lofts. In other words less of factors to consider. I'm at 9.5 with mid 90s swing speed in a stiff shaft.

G400 max at 9 with Ping tour 65 stiff shaft- 104-108 SS Fits me perfectly.

Mid 90's swing speed with the G Max 9* regular flex Alta shaft. Allows me to hit it both ways as well as high or low. This club is extremely workable. I found I could work it more with the regular flex then with the stiff flex.

10.5°, Alta CB R flex. Tee with 1/2 ball above crown seeing 225 with high 80's swing speed. Tee it with top of ball at crown for low shot. Seeing nice straight flight unless I come out of thru swing (extend) and then usually see a push to the left (I am a lefty)

Mine’s a 9° set to the large minus and gets the ball up.

I can’t imagine how high a 10.5° would launch.
