I took a look, the quality is real low compared to Be Better Golf and My Swing Evolution.

He needs a script to keep it together, might be better off using a host like Brendon to keep it coherent.

Whoever is still running his old site is still sending out emails that perpetuate the george is still involved, might be a small disclaimer somewhere, but it definitely portrays gankas as still running the show. The amount gets per hour for a lesson, I would hire a good attorney at double that rate and get my name separated from the old site or have them make it abundantly clear that he is not affiliated.

This is a good interview where GG goes into his situation with Andrew Fischer, the operator of his old site:

Quoted for laughs later

I agree Brendon seems like a nice dude, but still needs to improvement on interviewing people, starts to talk over them before they can finish. His production quality is good though and I do appreciate watching his channel from time to time.

I was really excited for this I am a fan of GG, but these videos seem very scatter-gun without a consistent pattern or message. I think they would benefit from a summary at the end, and a better intro. I'm a big fan of repetition when trying to explain things..."tell me what you're going to tell me....tell me....and then tell me what you just told me"

Exactly, this is why he needs to script it or have a host like they do in Golf Channel to keep him on track

Just wondering which members still do the Gankas thing.

I got into GG's stuff late. I didn't watch his stuff until January. Took a lesson from him in person in April and just got an online lesson from him last week. Swinging it really well with some major breakthroughs recently. Very happy with the progress.

convo starts at 16:00

TL:DW - GG met Andrew through Bubba - he was Bubba's trainer. Andrew set up the membership site. GG started getting direct messages -- '50 a week' -- about billing issues etc. GG felt there was no transparency in terms of the number of subscribers and the financials. Was supposed to be a 50/50 partnership but it was all verbal and [my editorial opinion] it sounds like he's getting a piece after all the non-cash expenses that show up in the financials. The final straw came when Andrew claimed ownership of all the social media platforms aside from Instagram. GG has a new partner now. Still doesn't have contracts with his PGA players. His biggest market are South Koreans.

Not me lol I think George is highly intelligent and good for the golf industry because he’s fun and different. But with that being said, I believe Golf is a game of misses and while my good shots are damn good with his method, my bad shots are worse than with any other method.

Just curious what your misses were? I remember seeing your posts from awhile back and you were pretty much all in on the method so just wondering how bad the misses were. I've been doing GG's method as well and my misses are mostly big pushes turning into slices.

Same here. I just had to focus too much on the squat/pivot and keeping the arms up, which did not leave me with enough focus for the external target and the natural flow of the swing. I kept trying for a really long time, telling myself that the moves would become naturally ingrained if I would put enough reps in but even after a year of trying really hard, it never did.

I am now playing golf according to Manuel de la Torre. Throw the club head with your hands over your right shoulder and then, from the top, throw the whole club with your upper arms to the target.

I am playing golf now, not golf mechanics. I also spend much less time on the range and my index dropped by 4 strokes in two months. Such freedom.

I just felt there were too many things going on and it was hard to be consistent. The golf swing isn't simple but IMO the more simpler and athletic you can make it the better your misses will be. FWIW, my misses were left and/or bad contact on the face.

My good shots were very good, but the misses were off the planet with the driver. My swing "looked" pretty but my swing now is much more effective. My misses are so much better and my ball curves very very little now. The swing GG taught me and the swing Dan has built couldn't be further from the opposite of each other either. My scores are 5 shots better with my swing now than when I was using GG's swing. I now have rounds with zero bogeys whereas my GG swing generally involved at least one OB driver that led to double.

It's always nice to eliminate those foul balls. When I worked with Geoff, my misses were big. Been working with Monte for a long time and my misses are now in the rough, not 2 fairways over.
