Also, the Even Flow Black is 65, 75, and 85 series, not 70. The 65 6.5 is 69 grams and the 75 5.5 is 71 gram. That’s as close as they get to 70 grams. If you’re talking about the 75 6.5, that’s 79 gram. https://www.pxshaft.com/products/project-x-evenflow-black/

To the extent that it helps, I have the Blue 75 6.0 in my fairways and both the 65 6.0 Blue and 65 6.0 Black for the driver. The Black is definitely a bit lower trajectory, but still very easy to launch with my modest 95-100 SS. I find working the ball both ways to be a bit easier with the Blue and hitting hard fades all day to be easier with the Black.

I think the Even Flow profiles work well with most golf swings. Unless you have a really fast or really slow transition, I bet you’ll like it.

I appreciate the feedback. I was just going off of their custom shaft listing and they only list weight class 60,70. I'm more looking for someone who has hit the black as I currently game the HZRDUS Black 62 6.5 in the driver and would like something a bit heavier and a tad smoother in a fairway. Nervous the yellow HZRDUS or the EV Blue might feel too loose.

I first purchased the rogue sz 15 with evenflow black 6.5. I ordered it tipped .5 inches, but not sure if it actually was. I didn't find the black low launch, more mid, but that might be because the rogue fairway woods are easy to launch to begin with. The evenflow black wasn't bad, but I don't think the shaft profile really fit me. I have a more aggressive transition and it didn't seem to always fit with me. I still have the rogue sz 15, but have since put a tensei pro white 80TX in there and that feels more stable for me. I also like the extra weight and being in the 80 gram area with my fairway woods.

I'm actually looking for mid launch. I really want to try something different than my driver but I'm nervous it feel loose compared to the HZRDUS Black. I appreciate the insights!

I've hit the Hzrdus black in a driver before and the evenflow black will definitely feel more "loose" and not as stout as the Hzrdus black. For me the evenflow black in the 15 was at least mid launch, even closer to mid to high. I wouldn't say it ballooned or anything, just comes off higher than I'm used to.
