This is a great bag, been using mine for over a month now. If you like the utility stand bag and the players series, this is the best of both worlds.

Maybe i am getting old. Ive had the Jones non stand bag and ive found it a pain bending down to pick up the bag. In fact ive like the ping moonlite (older version)better because the design of their single strap sits up and one does not have to bend down.

All good reviews of the utility stand bag?

 

I just got one about 2 months ago... used, off a great guy here. I really like the utility, it's light and a quality build. Plenty of storage but it's basically a great bag on a smaller scale.... Pockets are nice, but seem a bit tight and the top is also really nice but small so trying to stuff a blade putter in with a cover can be a pain. The dividers aren't quite wide enough for great fits but overall it's a cool bag and very functional.

Mine got wet but, dried w no marks on it. I AM worried however if they ever put green fertilizer down...could easily stain the material I think. (I have a rover utility)

I’ve put around 50 rounds this year on my players bag (003) and I would say 60% of those as a dew sweeper and probably 5 rounds where I had to put rain gloves on. Bag has held up great in wet grass, really do not notice at all and my Back has not gotten wet carrying. It also has done very well in rain - I just make sure I empty bag when I get home and let it breathe overnight (which I would do with any bag)

 

Love that bag, have two minor things I would tweak, but just has been fantastic carry bag and you shouldn’t worry about wet grass

has anybody jammed a rod down the spine of the Original Jones bag to create a structure? I think it would help when riding in a cart

i try to walk as much as I can for rehab on the course. I shattered my left ankle last year. So far I have made it through 9 holes consistently. But I agree. It’s hard to find walker friendly courses where I currently live.

Just got my Jones Original Bomber in Black vinyl. It has matched or exceeded all of my expectations. I’ll get some pictures up in a day or so. It’s unstructured but the vinyl has holds its shape very well. I was originally worried about that, but those worries are gone.

Indian Wells is pretty friendly for walking. Maybe after this crap is over with IF I don't wash or blow away we can maybe walk 9 this fall. I have ankle issues from back in the day (pin in right one).

You are correct and I have found that out in my older age--- Back in the day used to be a Staff Bag Man but no more. Like Nix first told me when I met him on here "easy just grab and go"

Just picked up a players 003 with the Spring discount, it ended up being $133 after shipping and everything. Looking forward to getting it and seeing how everything fits.
