So, the GAPR LO is a new UDI, the mid is the old Adams dHy, and the HI is totally an Adams hybrid. Sounds like a winning plan - all really popular clubs. Honestly, I like the looks of all of these. Wasn't expecting to like the HI or MID but they work for me.

didn't the Adams DHY have bulge and roll? that new mid has a flat face doesn't it? not sure they are anywhere close to the same.

was thinking the same thing, the bulge and roll was the differentiating factor that, to me, made the Dhy so good. I like the Lo and the Hi, the Hi definitely has an appealing shape, and if it performs, I can easily get over the crown design, those things have never really bothered me anyways. What I'm worried about is the feel, I had a short stint testing the M3 rescue and was not a fan of the feel, also, it seemed to launch the same (too low for a rescue) no matter how high I set the loft.

So DJ is playing a GAPR LO without adjustable hosel but the GAPR LO's we all get will have the adjustable hosel? Just trying to keep all the differences straight.

GAPR low will replace my P790 UDI. The adjustability will allow me to test shafts so much easier.

I’m not a fan of the GAPR color scheme at all. May have to ship it off to the iron factory for an immediate facelift.

Go to agree Madabout….new prices are stopping me, and some of my playing partners changing gear, until the pound recovers. Not keen on the black finish either, my R15 is safe for now.

I’m thinking maybe the Mid could fit right into that 18-19 degree spot in my bag. I currently switch between a Apex UT 2 iron and a 19 degree hybrid but maybe the Mid could be the perfect blend of both. That would be perfect in my opinion. Looking forward to testing these out.

 

Plus the adjustable hosel is an added bonus. Like the fact I can adjust loft and lie on the fly to dial in exact flight, carry, etc.

Check out Continental Golf. They are a sponsor here and do great work. They did my M1 430 (WITB pics in my signature if you haven't seen their work). They can do anything you want.

 

Don't get wrong Iron Factory is great too, had them do 2 or 3 wedge refinishing's over the years but I'd say at least look into CG before making a decision that's all.

I wasn't too sure about the look of these myself, but in person I was much more impressed. Take a look at them in hand before you write them off. They may grow on you. The really good news is they sit quite flat in the standard loft setting. I'm excited to do some testing and see if I can make one do everything I want in my hybrid slot. I'm always compromising something now.

They are 1.5* adapters like the M1/M3 hybrids.

The stock shaft is not the same as the KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype unfortunately. It is something new, not sure if it'll be something KBS releases to retail or if it's TM only.
