Nike pro combo os question for nike lovers....

I can't pull the trigger on an iron, but this is what I am looking for. Looks, forgiveness with little offset. The nike pro combo os looks good to me. Not to sure about the speed step shaft however and have been told it is really a tx 90 . Anybody out there use the os model and love them? Anybody try the stock shaft or have a shaft in that club that works for them. I need to pull the trigger on a new set of irons and I would really like (appreciate) your opinion. Thanks in advance

If they made the Pro Combo OS in left handed I would be playing them for sure. And yes, the stock shaft is very much like the TX-90 which I find ok in the Slingshots as was as the 04 Pro Combos. Its not as bad as most say. I prefer the DG but it still get the job done.

i have them... replaced the speed shaft with s300's. clubs are 100% better now... more feel is the biggest plus. didn't realize how much of a diff. it would be until i played with the s300's.

 

alot of that might be due to the added weight.. they are now D3.5.

 

Great irons... I am thinking about switching to the PC tours.. since i am not really missing the center of the club face much anymore.

I'm with you. I really wish I put DG's in mine becuase I don't like the speed steps at all. i too am looking to go to the PC tours but may wait until these rumored "MOI's" come out.

I was debating with the nike pro combo os, callaway x-18 and srixon i-506.. my price on the srixon is why i picked them.. would have been happy with either of the 3..

what does MOI stand for...I dont fully understand (for the new nike irons)
