Need a bag solution. Please help!

I have a 4 year old PING Hoofer bag that is due for replacement. It has turned from black to a faded dark green hue. I went with PING 4 years ago because I really liked the strap. I don't carry my bag, and even though I am right handed, I always carry on my left shoulder from the car to the range. All bags... even today... seem to be right side carry bags. Yes I am aware that you can change that on some bags, but still, I prefer a single strap. The other issue is one of club bunching. I went to PGATSS yesterday to check out bags. I thought the Sun Mountain 5.5 with it's giant mouth would solve the club bunching, but it didn't. Instead the TaylorMade FlexTech 5 seem to bunch less (at the bottom) than the 5.5. But then I have a different issue. I have a Driver, 3, 5, and Hybrid. All with head covers. Add the putter in the mix, and my bag start to resemble an LPGA player (not that there is anything wrong with them). The bag is really "FULL" at the top. I am struggling to find a divider that works. The OGIO shredder with it's WoodE top is the best solution I have found so far, BUT having forged irons (MB18's), the irons would get severe bag chatter based on the fact that they literally on top of one another.

 

As for cart bags. There are a couple of issues here.

 

1) I really don't like the look of them. To my eye, the all seem ugly.

2) I go to the range at least 3 times a week, and need something that can stand up. It appears to me that you have to lean them

3) 80% of them are 14-way tops... and I don't want a 14 way top.

 

So.....

 

That leave Tour Bags.

 

Where are we on that whole "Tour Bags are pretentious" debate? I Don't really want something VERY heavy either.

 

 

Any suggestions?

No suggestions on the Tour Bag front other than maybe custom Vessel? But otherwise, what about a Sun Mountain C130 Cart Bag with the 5 Way Top? Base is huge so it will stand up no problem, single strap, plenty of options for storage.

Yeah. That one was on my radar, but don't like the look of it. If it didn't have that top pouch/pocket protruding so far, it would be a strong contender.

PS: At this point I am leaning towards the 2017 Sun Mountain Looper bag. Unfortunately there is no where to go to see one in person, and they are on the expensive side ($210)

I agree on the "pouch" part that protrudes so far. I also can't figure out why it is partially detachable and flips up? Either way, if you like the style, TGW still has the 2016 7 ways on sale, which has the range finder pouch on the lower part of the bag with a cart strap pass through portion up top. A 7 way 2016 C130 would be perfect. The link you posted points to a 14-way though, and I don't see the 7-way on TGW
