So this is a UST Frequency Filtered putter shaft with more cabron fiber/less steel shaft involved. Ok.

I have 3 putters with these shafts in them and am a big fan. I really like the feel of it and definitely think my putts hold their line better. I think the biggest difference is in long putts, the putter just seems a lot more stable. I would recommend trying it if you get a chance.

I am pretty sure they have a shaft for any kind if putter but it looks like you have to send it to them to re-shaft it.

Miss hits is where I see the most improvement. Less off line

Incorrect they sell just the top part. Cut your current shaft to fit

Tried one at Felix Clubworks today that was in his own putter and immediately bought one. It seemed like it is a little heavier than the regular steel shaft I have in my own gamer and it felt like it made my stroke much smoother. Distance control was better and like someone else said above it even made mishits feel solid. Can’t wait for it to come in and get it installed in my own putter.

^ you’re correct they don’t just add it to your own putter shaft. The steel part showing on theirs is part of their own shaft

I just wanted to pop in here and let you guys know I have had a chance to try out this shaft, and it is legit.

 

Built a new ER9 with one and 3 of us in the shop could not miss a putt with it (straight-mostly-10 footer). We were unsure if it was the putter or the shaft though to be honest and this was for a customer (Oh Hi Chadillac.. Didn't see you there), so today we built a true test.

 

We took a Rife tour mallet that we had 2 identical ones of and built one with the stability shaft at the same length with the same iomic grip.

 

Non-scientific testing: We each hit 5 putts with the original Rife putter and then we hit 5 with the stability shaft.

 

The results were a much tighter dispersion on our putts. With the original putter we could make a stroke and miss the hole, the amount the stability shaft let the ball leave our line seemed to be about half of that of the original putter.

We are sold, and look forward to building a lot of putters with this shaft!

I think Ian from TXG has been gaming this shaft and from what he's said on the channel, he's really into it. From a guy who probably gets to try every single piece of gear out there, this is probably saying a lot.

I just put this shaft in my CURE CX3 putter. It’s the most stable putter I have ever rolled. You can absolutely tell the difference. I live close to Cure putter HQ and they had been contacted by BGT about adding them in their putters. They want me to come get some data on their SAM putting lab. Will roll some with the identical cure putter with regular shaft vs Stability shaft. I will post the results when we get the data.

This is incorrect...

if you have a bend shaft, they take the bottom 8.25" of your shaft and install it into the graphite part of their shaft.

Is feel real? I suppose if it gives a person confidence it is.

 

I’d need to see a ton of data on this shaft before shelling out any dollars I was fortunate enough to keep from The Man.

Played a round yesterday with it in my putter. I noticed the putts not going in the hole which was disappointing. But, it was more consistent on off center strikes. The putts stayed on line better. The feel was also more muted in the hands and a slightly different sound. Off center strikes weren't as harsh feeling. Overall, I'm please with it so far. Need some more time with it though.

Had the same issue. It took me one round to get used to it. First round I played I missed short putts left and right. Spoke with the people at CURE they said give it one more go before swapping out. Glad I did. It does feel much more stable. And after the initial break in I played 9 holes and had 12 putts.

Putter shafts do not flex on short putts lol, Maybe a hair on 50 footers and over but a 10’ Putt is not flexing a putter shaft. This has Placebo written all over it.

The harsh feeling on a miss hit is there to remind you that you miss hit the ball, why would you not want to make it harder to feel a miss hit?
