Just revamped my bag for the first time in five years.

Driver: Cobra F7+ w/TPT 15 LKP LT

3W: TM M3 w/Rogue Silver 110MSI 70S

3i: Fourteen Type 7 w/HZRDUS Black 105g

4 – PW: MP 18 MMC w/SteelFiber FC 115x

50, 54, 60: Royal Collection Dual Bite w/SteelFiber i125

 

So far really liking the feeling of the SteelFibers and feeling positive about the changes in the bag. Even though I’m a WRX guy I’m really not a club hoe at all hence the same iron set in play for a little over five years before these changes.

Favorite club in the bag right now is the 3 iron. It’s a cannon and I like hitting it off the tee on short par 4’s. At my club we have several shorter par 4’s so I do hit it often.

I can be a wild man off the tee so the 3i helps me stay on the planet.

Really liking the SteelFibers so far. They feel great and are much easier on my elbow then the x100's ever were.

How do you like the MMC's? I'm on my 3rd full year playing the MP 15s, and while I really like them the MMCs have me intrigued. I also want to change shafts, and I figure if I'm going to throw close to $400+ to buy shafts and then install I could consider buying new Mizuno's with all the no up-charge shaft options.

 

SteelFiber's have me intrigued, I've never swung a club with them and I would definitely like to try. I was a PX 6.0 guy for years and would like to try Project X LZ 6.0, KBS Tour-V and whatever steelfiber would be appropriate for me.

 

I really need a driver fitting and a new driver this winter. I've always just bought a closeout model I liked and had a decent shaft in it. I feel like I'm not near optimized and leaving plenty on the table.

 

Finally, as I've said before, love the green and yellow on the putter!

MMC's have been awesome so far. Love the feel, love the look and seem pretty forgiving on toe hits (which has been my miss lately). I'd recommend them for sure. I'd also recommend the SteelFibers for sure.

I'll have to see how much a driver sets me back first. The MMCs seem to be pretty in line with MP15 forgiveness. Maybe I'll have to see what the new JPX forged 919 models are like too.

 

I don't dislike the C-Taper Lites, they have a good load and kick feeling. But I do think they may be a little light for me. I think it's easy for me to get quick at the top.

Not sure, I think they are available. I won the shafts in the recent WRX/Aerotech giveaway and the heads I bought from WRX'er Oknows.
