I just picked up two polos. Most of my polos are solid so I wanted to get a few with stripes.

A few things this week. Work has been very busy during August so have treated myself with some new gear for the coming months.

How does the Kjus gear fit? Quite fancy trying their jackets but would have to get mail order. For Galvin Green I have to go up a size compared with adidas, Mizuno and Nike

The Dexter fits roughly the same as the Galvin Green Lance. It’s Euro fit rather than US fit. So, I take a large in these whereas a Medium in Nike. A large Nike is like wearing a tent.

 

I’m 5’10, 12 1/2 stone and 42” chest for reference. Size 52.

I bought a diamond fleece from the Kjus website today. That’s it for me, have gone way overboard on new kit in the last month. Time to stop spending.

My final purchases of the year. No more, except for perhaps a padded jacket in November/December time.

 

I have a business feeding cats for a living and this August has been stupidly busy, I’ve done about 750 visits and hence had no time to play golf, so at least I have a new wardrobe for working my socks off. My older Nike/Oakley gear will be pressed into service cat sitting over the winter.

 

So, a couple of light layers from a Kjus retailer sale. The Kjus Second Skin.

 

And a couple of heavier, thermal layers from GG and Kjus again. A Galvin Green Dwayne and a Kjus Diamond Fleece. This should all last for a few years.

I’ve spent a fortune on Black, Grey and Red GG and Kjus Autumn and Winter gear. Mostly at a healthy discount I may add. It should all combine and layer well though.

A Kjus Dweight softshell and Kjus Second Skin base/mid layer.

 

I now have black, grey and red items for every layer so I can always be coordinated whatever the weather.

 

You’d never guess there were half price bargains around at the moment.

The pro shop at my club still had a few pairs of Ashworth shoes which they were selling for £70. I checked if I had any pro shop credit, turns out I had £66 so ended up paying £4 for a pair of shoes. I've only worn them once but they seemed pretty comfortable.

 

Best thing was my wife couldn't even give me a hard time for buying yet another pair of shoes, even she recognised what a bargain they were.

These Bonobos pants are my favorite pants. I’m a Nikehead but their pants just aren't made for my build. I'd have to spend more to get them tailored which I don't care to do. The tailored fit fits the best for me and the material doesn’t seem to wrinkle even if I tried to.
