Very limited production. Have to be approved as a member, pay $1200 and you get 12 dozen balls, some hats

and some other stuff. Don't think I'll be applying to be a member but am curious how the balls perform and

whether any will make it onto the tour.

This has to be a joke. $1200 for membership gets you 12 dozen balls ($100/dozen) and a "select apparel" package. They only have a hat on their site now. So you will get a hat or 2 and a t shirt, maybe a water bottle.

 

And now that you are a member, you are ALLOWED to buy more balls.

It's legit but...........apparently, as well, you won't be approved if someone at your club is already a paying

member of Clear. I think they're trying to out PXG PXG. There's a market for stuff like this....a super

exclusive golf ball club, lol. I'll bet they sell out.

Thanks grm. I didn't search much; just looked at the most recent threads and didn't see anything. I

heard lie dog talking about them on the radio. He's a member and raves about the ball. He had a

bunch of their shafts and told listeners about them and they sold out quickly. There is a demand

out there for this high priced boutique stuff.............but it ain't me, lol.

I did notice from that last thread that the price has gone up 33% in 2 years...$900 to $1200. Better get your

memberships now everyone. They'll be $1600 in 2 years. :D

Then I saw a photo of their golf ball in front of a......... Tyson Lamb putter.............. sealed the deal for me. Another crappy boutique wannabe company cashing in on those who desire to be apart of a 'luxury'/'sought after'/'limited' brand. I'll stick to my ChromeSoft.

them to sell some memberships to his audience. He plays with the balls himself and claims they are better

than any other. Something stinks in Denmark.

At least you get a name and company with a pretty solid history. What the bleep does "Clear" get you? Like if Callaway did this, I could see it working with lots of chrome soft lovers really wondering and wanting to get their hands on something so exclusive. But "Clear" lol?!?! C'mon.

I played with a guy who is on the European tour, he is from North America. He mentioned these to me and even said some guys on tour love the ball...

Yeah, it’s supposed to be a great ball. But I can’t spend 80 a box. If i did I would be covered in scrapes and might drown after going into the woods and diving into water hazards to retrieve all the balls I lose.
