Came from R11 to SLDR 430 to SLDR 460 to 2017 M1 460

 

Not looking back. I did miss the feel of the SLDR and the low spin but the M1 is crazy forgiving.

I missed the sldr for awhile but have found success with the m2 and m3 recently. Switch back and forth between the two.

2017 M1. Super consistent added 15 yards.

 

However I was playing the 430 sldr

Just put a 430 sldr into the bag. Sorted a Bobcat fix, screwed in an Attas G7 6x and it's blasted out the 440M1. Mind you, still get the odd one where you look up and it's heading for a different county. Don't get in front of these bad boys.

M4 here with Evenflow Blue now. Same carry as M2 but dispersion much better and the "bad" miss is usually now just off fairway. I do still air the SLDR occasionally for the hell of it. The odd heel or toe strike at full pelt is something to behold with the SLDR. Never quite know if it's going 80 or 280 and from which fairway I'll be playing. Great club. Reminds me of RX8 Mazda. Incredible speed, looks but never sure if it was going to 1) start 2) behave or 3) if I'd be alive later in the day.

First: Take your original (2013-2014) SLDR Driver 'out of the closet' that you put in there because it produced too many of those dreaded 'low, and left hooks' that seemed to just come out of nowhere, even when you felt you had put a really good swing on your SLDR Driver!... ;)

 

Second: Apply 'The SLDR Fix' and you can welcome your original Retail (2013-2014) SLDR 430,460, or 'S" Model Driver back to your bag!..(A link to the 'Fix' is shown below)... :yes:

 

(Note" This Fix is NOT applicable to SLDR Tour-issued models which use a different weighting scheme)

Well Jack still uses an Sldr but he drinks so you can’t rely on his judgements always...if he chokes up a little he hits it really well but he likes to crush it and that requires ALL 45 inches of POWER!!!!

Sldr 430 12 deg to 2017 m1 9.5 460cc but still play my sldr on vacation. Just got a 2017 m1 440cc 10.5 to try. No club is longer than my sldr

I played the SLDR 430 up till last season when I switched to the 2016 M1 430, but then again to the SLDR 430 about 3 rounds ago will probably stay in the bag.

 

But...today I picked up a Epic SZ 9* off the BST so I guess that'll be in the bag either for awhile or just a few weeks and back to SLDR 430.

I have just snapped up an SLDR S on a whim. . The distance is real! Never expected much out of it and 3 rounds in I don't even find it particularly unforgiving (I am coming from an FT Tour and before that jpx 850.) I know people will mock if I put numbers on it but it is seriously putting me in new places on the course. Into wind it is phenomenal.

I didnt find the SLDR to be unforgiving in terms of Left and Right slices and hooks... It does however have the tendency to knuckleball low short offcenter hits on occasion.
