Best Golf Towel you have found?

Was in Dicks looking for a golf towel really fast before a round. And the fast selection there is really bad.

 

What is the best golf towel or work around to wipe your clubs with? And to have one for your hands and face.

I like the Frogger.

When it's dry out, you soak the inside of the towel so it helps clean the clubs and use the outside to dry.

When it's wet out, you get the outside wet and keep the inside dry.

 

Very soft, very durable.

in 2001 when I moved to Germany I was about to play when it started raining. I had left my towel at home so needed to buy one. The pro shop only had Titleist towels which cost 19 euros! I was stunned at the price, but I still have the towel on my bag today and it looks like it will last another 17 years!

Go to the auto section at Target and you can buy a six pack of white towels for $8. You will have more than you need, and won’t care much if you lose them. The quality isn’t much lower than the hand towels in the bath section.

Hang one soaked Frogger and a club brush on one side of your bag. Those are for your clubs. Hang a soaked Frogger of a different color and a dry towel on the other side of your bag. Those are for your hands and face.

+1. I have one myself and from I understand, the towel is partly made out of bamboo which is why is it pretty damn durable. The older it gets, the softer it is. Well worth the $30 CDN that I paid for 6 years ago.

Sure in Florida that may be true. Here in Arizona I much prefer the microfiber waffle towels. Regular towels dry out much too quickly during the round.

I've stopped using golf towels, and have come to prefer a basic, cheap white towel - the kind you might find at a dollar store or the very bottom shelf at Walmart. I like longer length towels over shorter hand towels or golf towels because I can wet one half and keep the other half dry. It happens to loop securely through the frame of my push cart, but if I need to attach it to something else (e.g. my bag), just running it through a smaller carabiner works great. It's tight enough through the carabiner that there's no chance of it slipping free.

 

Mine happens to be garish pink now because it got washed with a batch of those red garage shop towels that bleed like crazy when washed. No chance my towel is mistaken for anybody else's.

When I read the thread title, I thought the OP meant "found," as in found on the golf course, not in a store. I'd tell you about the best one I've found, but I'm sure someone here would ask for it back :blush2: .

 

I'm curious, do we feel the same way about turning in a found towel as we do about turning in a found wedge? I've turned in a couple of towels that were from cool courses that I thought might have some sentimental value to the owner. But I've kept a few basic towels I found over the years.
