I keep saying .... I don't know what Ping can do to improve their G400 driver, it's the best product I've ever hit over the past 25 years. As for their other woods, hybrids & irons, I imagine they'll come up with some trick to get WRX's to try & buy next year.

What do you mean already? The G400 came out summer 17. Ping is on an 18 month product cycle. That's common knowledge.

Release date is still up in the air from what I thought but January wouldn’t surprise me, seems like they’re going the PXG route and not planning on sticking with release cycles and just bringing out new tech as it comes along.

The G500 will be 100 units better. With a reduced crown weight, lower and more rearward COG, 10-way adjustable hosel, counterbalanced shaft, 12 grip options and a hidden weight in the head made of unobtanium, this driver will be faster, straighter and longer than any driver ever produced.

Please please let the new driver have a adapter system like Callaway and Titleist but only if it maintains a small diameter and weight. I think Ping engineers can make that happen.

Talking with my rep the other day, and he said first of February, but wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being end of January. No Ls model as they could not improve upon current, so should come later down the pipeline. He was impressed with it, but it my mind going to be hard to top G400

Should just delay the release and stick with G400. Seems crazy to replace such a hot product unnecessarily.

Phew! I was about to b**** and moan about now having to wait till January to buy a new driver but ideally I need the lower spinning option.

The only improvment i could envision is a SFT model in the G400Max and/or 12* degree model. Maybe cosmetics, like a different color~shifting shaft, Don’t mess with the turbulators and dragonfly tech, i enjoy the extra 3 mph an 5-7 yds. : /

Add a high loft neutral weighted option for us low spin low launch slower swingers. Would absolutely Game a 13.5 G400Max without draw weighting.

I never gave equipment that much credit in improving golf play but... The G400 LST changed my driving game so much I still dont believe it. I still suck but sucking less was achieved I might tinker with shafts but that head is staying put.
