This is by far the strangest feeling I’ve had with equipment in a long time. I think my bag is actually set. Every time I think of switching something my next thought is “but I got my current gamer so well”.

What do I do now? I could add a 60° but just dumped it because I rarely use it.

Ps-if interested this is my bag:

2016 M2, 8.5 w Rogue Silver 60

TEE CB1 w Comp NT 85

Adams Pro Mini 23° w/PXi 6.0

Ping S56 5-PW w/ Project X 6.0

Cally MD3 54° w/ Project X 6.0

Nike Method Mod Mod 60

You might consider getting an MD3 58*. It's likely more versatile than a 60* would be and it could be easier to use...

I also really like everything in my bag. But that didn't stop me buying a new set of irons and a 22 degree hybrid yesterday - bought the hybrid as I couldn't find a matching 4 iron to the set. I don't even like hybrids.

The great thing about being happy with the clubs you own is searching, and waiting, to find clubs you want to try, but for a low price.

I'm content with my drivers and change them out nearly every round. However, there are other drivers I would like to try (Superdeep, Launch Lab, Egg Spoon, Bio Cell+, etc.) that I search for every so often on ebay. If I can find one for less than ~$80 with a shaft I think will work for me, I'll pull the trigger. Otherwise, I'll just pass on the auction. Chances are these other drivers won't give me any more distance, so it's more just wanting to try them for the **** of it. If I can get one for cheap, great! If not, it's no big loss as I really like my current driver stash.

I had the same problem but wanted the Apex hybrids. It was worth waiting. Got three for half-price at CPO. With a bunch of old trade bait I’m out zero dollars.

I had that same feeling until my wife said buy yourself a club for your birthday. Now there is a brand new F8 hybrid in my bag.

I think that the evolution of ones bag is a reflection on their willingness / desire to tinker and change. Also, they may doubt their game. If I suck with my hybrid for a few rounds and at the range then I am more adept to getting rid of the club sooner. But, if I work on it over time or just substitute other clubs in for different scenarios, it might stay in longer.

I know guys that will show up with a bag of clubs one week and go a week or two with them and change them up from head to toe. Including putter. It's a luxury that not everyone rocks but, it's available if you have the means necessary.

I’ve been tinkering for 10 years or so, seriously into club building for the last 5-6 (meaning real club building equipment) and this is a first for me.

Exactly! Been thinking of trying an Epic driver but I hit the M2 so well I haven’t bothered. Maybe one of the Cally sale days I’ll grab one!

Funny too that I have bought 3 sets of irons this year thinking of moving the S56’s out of the bag. The last set I didn’t even bother hitting, I just sold them since I’ve been hitting the 56’s so well.

I do have my eye on the i210’s but man my last 2 rounds were my best ever. Hard to take them out after that!

First season in along time that I don't want to change clubs as everything just seems to be working.

Callaway Rogue 10.5* Oban Devotion 6

    Callaway XR16 Pro 16 Diamana D+ 80

    Callaway Steelhead 7w DGX100 Lite

    Callaway Steelhead 9w DGX100 Lite

    TaylorMade P790 5-PW DGS300 105

    Ping Glide 2.0 Stealth 50SS, 54SS, 60ES (50 bent to 49 & 60 to 59)

    Odyssey V-line WHP

Only questionable slot is the 3w/4w as I'm looking for a Rogue 15 or 17 with a 80g + Fairway shaft but will probably just wait for one of the CPO sales later this fall/winter when they go 30%+ off.

I am in the same boat and have been for a while. I can't find anything wrong with my Ping i e1's or my 913 D3 driver. I actually bought the 913 used when the 915 came out and left it in the closet for about 6 months before putting it in play. My swing was a mess for about a month with the driver and I considered checking out the G400, Max. Figured something out this week about my driver swing and have been hitting the driver really well since then so the 913 will hang around. Love my wedges and 3 wood as well. I did put the old Newport back in the bag the other day though.

Are those the new steelhead FW’s? If so how are they? I’ve almost bought one several times but have held off thus far.

Two weeks ago I shot my lifetime best score and promptly bought a new set of irons. There literally is nothing rational about the desire to have the newest technology available. I don’t try to fight it anymore . I just keep my prior set for awhile in case the new one doesn’t work. I take good care of my clubs and if I resell them I usually don’t lose much money.

I'm in the same boat. I have two putters which I love (Scotty Fastback and Ping Anser 2 Vault) and I've tried multiple drivers and irons this year and don't hit anything better than my own. I want a G400 Max, but can't see the point in me buying it when it isn't any straighter or longer for me than my G....

So instead I've resorted to looking at golf bags, shoes and clothing instead to feed my purchasing addiction. We have to buy something right?
