So excited to receive this shaft. Thank you Aerotech and WRX! I can’t believe how amazing this shaft looks in person. I’ll get this beast tipped and gripped ASAP. Please be patient for #’s and comparison data. My schedule gets a little crazy the next few weeks. Will do my best to get on launch monitor as soon as I can.

After a stretch of really awful weather, I FINALLY had the chance to get this thing outside and hit it. I went with the 70 F6 and installed to play 45.5" in a 917d3. Gamer shaft is a Fuji Evolution Tour Spec 757 X flex, which is a shaft I love and can't seem to get away from.

I was very very impressed with the TiFiber. Excellent feel for starters. I ordered the stoutest option obviously but still found it to be very smooth and responsive. But it holds up very well to laying on the gas as well. I felt like I was carrying it maybe a touch longer than my gamer with comparable spin (low to low medium). What really stood out for me was accuracy. In literally 50 to 60 shots I did not hit a single foul ball. Dispersion was tight. Flight looked right on the money. Nice and strong. Not too high or low.

I was honestly pretty surprised that I liked it as much as I did. I'm just so used to that Fuji that I have difficulty finding anything else. But I would say after one range session, there is a legitimate chance that I could replace my gamer with this. I was hitting crap range balls in less than desirable weather but really liked what I saw. Cannot get over the accuracy aspect. Anytime you find something you hit that straight without sacrifIcing distance is a huge win. And I would say this fits that bill, plus add in great feel.

Gets my highest marks. Let me know if you have questions!

Well, wouldn’t you know it but the deep freeze set back in the very next day. I’m hoping I’ll get it back out next weekend but looking more and more like I won’t see course time with it until a trip to Phoenix at the end of the month. Really looking forward to getting it out for an actual round.

Can’t stop thinking about how well it performed.

Come on boys-let’s hear some thoughts from the rest of you!

I've always felt like Aerotech stuff is awesome in terms of dispersion - - - thanks for posting this.

Thank you Aerotech, and Golfwrx!!

Sorry no full review just yet. Snow will delay that for a bit, but will definitely update this thread when I get a chance to hit it.

I decided on the 74g F6 version. First off, it looks fantastic. Just a touch darker than the normal Steelfiber iron shafts which I like. Ordered a new LTD Pro adapter for it, and will be installing it a couple weeks time.

Any of the winners find these to be soft in flex? I wanted the Tour60 in F6 but that flex wasn't offered in the 60. Went with the Tour70 F5 thinking the heavier weight would be too stiff for me in the F6. My mistake as it almost feels a little mushy for me but not necessarily in a bad way. It felt springy instead of whippy. Surprisingly no lefts which is my usual miss hits and the trajectory is a true mid flight for me.

I'll have to try tipping it to see if that helps the feel at all. If not, I could always try it in a fairway metal.

Thanks again to Areotech and Golfwrx for the awesome giveaway!

I got the F6 in the 70. Doesn't feel soft to me, even at a little overlength/higher swingweight. I will say that it also does not feel overly stout to me. For example, Steelfiber X shafts feel pretty stout to me...this did not. Just normal "x flex" variant. To me it was the perfect combo of smooth but healthy enough that I wasn't losing accuracy/consistency.

It appears I'll finally have some more golf weather Friday and Saturday, so hoping to get this out for some more testing.

Good to know. Contemplating tipping to get something close to the HZRDUS Black 75g 6.5 but not sure how much it would need..

Alright had to take one more spin through my round after my quick recap yesterday. I went back and did some Google Earth measurements. Pretty sure I got these right as we had no tee markers yesterday so just played the very back of all of one set of boxes. To set the stage is was 48 degrees outside, sopping wet from a freshly melted snow, and misting for much of the round. Here are my driver attempts:

1: 305 (fairway – level)

3: 290 (fairway – little downhill)

4: 299 (3 feet into rough – level)

6: 297 (fairway – uphill)

9: 275 (bunker - level)

10: 285 (fairway - uphill)

11: 308 (bunker - downhill)

12: 295 (3 feet into rough - little downhill)

16: 277 (fairway - uphill)

18: 273 (fairway – level)

Fairways: 6/10

Near misses: 2/10

Average distance: 290.4

In my book, that's 8/10 in the right spot to keep the round moving at a very good distance. My course is littered with fairway bunkers, so the two I hit into bunkers weren't exactly massive misses. And of course, I'd expect at least 10 yards more distance in better conditions.

I put the TI Fiber back in the driver yesterday for another test on the range. It definitely wants to go straight. The thing I really love about this shaft is that you can just go after it. No big misses in either direction. It is definitely launching in a lower window than the Rogue Silver (not a bad thing). Knowing how I can just go at this shaft makes me want to also try it in a 60g weight. I'll get on it a few days this week, and post some updates.
