I thought the course might actually be in Louis XIV's back yard. It's close, just a little south of Versailles.

That line stood out for me too.There are only six of the 24 players who're definitely younger than the course, which was opened in 1990.

I played the course 5 years ago. ( 2 days in a row) We had a great experience , but for me it was one of the most intimidating courses I ever played . water is everywhere (have to carry it to reach the green) .. some heavy rough as well.. ( but that's the amateur perspective) :-)

I think it could get interesting! ( scoring is historically on tour / open de France not that low as well .. around -10 if I remember well)

 

Lets enjoy it! US team looks very strong for sure!!! Shame that there will be no Belgian Bomber this year :-)
