Anyone know what those dots were on Saquon Barkleys arms? Think another guy had them too.

 

Man, the Giants. Hard to tell if they will totally suck this year based on that performance. But it was not very promising, thats for sure.

 

I thought their performance was promising. Don't they have like 5 rookies playing? OBJ started off slow but Sheppard picked up the slack and continued a sterling (haha) preseason. Engrim is still dropping the ball but that cannot continue, he's too talented. Saquon's 60 yd td was beautiful to watch. Meanwhile, why the F is Flowers still with the Giants?

Let's hope Shurmur can put together a coherent strategy to use his pieces effectively. I think if Saquon shines he will take pressure off Eli and give him more time. Did you notice they did a ton of play-action? Step in the right direction and throw in more screens, draw the D in and then over the top to OBJ!

I think I remember seeing the dots your talking about. It was like a strip of them correct? That is "padding" for your elbows usually to prevent cuts and scrapes when you go down to the ground. They used to just be white strips but they didnt stay on to well so they created something that moves with you.

 

I thought Sunday was promising for the Giants. Especially against the number 1 rated D in the league. OBJ owned Jalen Ramsey. Barkely looked great, getting his sea legs for the season.

 

Erick Flowers is the lartgest liability in the entire NFL. That was evident after the first 2 plays and had 2 penalties called on him. GET HIM OFF THE FIELD PERMANENTLY.

 

Defense was ok. Need to play together for a few games. I'll take the L week 1 and move on. I think they look good as a unit. Just need to get flowers off the damn field.

I have never seen the highs and lows of last night raiders/rams game in a stadium before. At half every one was in good spirits and loud by the end they wanted to burn the stadium down. There was actual "Fire Gruden" chants. I feel bad for raiders fans... Only 2 years left in Oakland so let's spend 100 million on a coach, tear it down, rebuild and be a good team in Vegas. Ouch.

Yeah Flowers is gonna get Eli killed. I saw his assignment run right by him a bunch of times. At least he is not on Eli's blind side anymore. But still I don't get it in and age where players are treated like commodities. Is his mom a personal friend of the Mara family?

One game. That's all it took. To realize this year's version of the Leo's is the same as last year. And the one before that. For the last 50+ years and counting. The same tired saga of ongoing incompetence . And another pathetic display of continuing ineptitude. New regime? Ha! Same as it ever was. Only with a different cast of characters playing the parts.

 

The Jets? With a rookie QB? At home? Opening game? And you're humiliated. I don't care. Haven't in a long time. Not worth expending one iota of my attention to this sad sack franchise. At least I didn't have to wait till the 5th game of the season to once again reach this conclusion. Thinking of all that can be pursued with unfettered Sundays.

 

To those with something resembling a real professional team, enjoy your fandom.

Picked or not, that was one of the roughest endings a Bears fan had to endure.

 

ANY other team and I would have been fine with it. With the Pack, it's just crushing. Hopefully, they move on and put a hurtin on Seattle.

That was rough ending for anyone other than a Packers fan to endure. That Mack fellow is pretty good though, so I think you guys will be alright. Just got to figure out what happened to the offense in the second half and they'll be fine. Plus Smith still needs to get more up to speed on things after the hold out and the D will get even better.

Thank god I missed most of the first half of the broncos game, not a great game but I like the resolve they showed in the second half and the nuts to get it done on that last drive.

 

Chiefs offence is scary but they're gonna give up a lot. Fitzy stealing Jameis' job like they're crab legs from publix. Impressive stuff by Bortles and the Jags. Dan Bailey gonna get a nice check from someone tomorrow.
