I'm a big Christie Kerr fan. I realize that some people think she can be a little on the brash side, that often is misinterpreted. I admire her for her charitable events, and the efforts she's done to lose weight, and get in great physical shape.

 

Actually - her Feisty nature reminds me a lot of a cute little Asian gal that I knew years ago. She had a bit of a temper, but we got along great. I would imagine Christie is the same way in person.

I have always admired Christie and her game

 

I read at one time she was very heavy and found it hard to believe.

 

I read like a year ago she was working out and trying to get stronger like Annika

 

Today I turned on the golf channel and was watching her play To me it looked like she has gained a ton of weight.

 

Does anyone know anything about this or am I nuts

I followed her group at the CN Canadian Women's Open. She has certainly gained a few pounds since '06 but not a "ton" of weight. Keep in mind she's only 5'3" so any weight gain will show.

I think Christie Kerr is great for woman's golf. She has the fire of a Dottie Pepper and is not bad to look at...Looking at her now compared to back in the day..Total transformation...

Let me pen this down: 2011 Kraft/Nabisco LPGA championship. Christie has a horrible over par round #1 and YET she still turned up at the signing booth. She badly needed a hug but she was a trooper. I followed her for a few holes and you can tell she was not relaxed but stressing over everyshot as the ball hit those hard greens. In my eyes, good round or bad round, she turned up and met her fans with a smile - that's what the LPGA needs. After this experience, I will be back to next year's - these gals can play and better looking than the men, lol.

Christi is really lookin' good and her new fitness program is beginning to show great results on TV. I also think that will in turn result in more wins on the tour with her new power.
I met her several years ago at Lincoln Hills in Roseville. She has come a long way to becoming one of the worlds best woman golfer. We followed her this year at the
Phoenix charity tournament. Keep up the good work.

I think she is a great player and does wonderful charity work and she speaks so well when being interviewed.....but....I HATE the way she screams at the ball (she is almost abusive) when she hits a bad shot, I feel like slapping her.

Saw Feherty's program with Cristie; it first aired August 28 but will likely be in heavy rotation for a bit. We know his job is to make his subjects look good, but she came across really well.
