I have 4-Yururi Tour wedges (conf) 48,52,56,60 w/kbs $ that
replaced my 29 pw and MP R12’s and now I’m seriously thinking about switching to the PDG or Flat Backs

Was wondering if anyone who has used both can tell me the differences/opinions of the 2

PDG have similar lofts as the 29’s but what about offset?
I would prefer less.

Topline of both compared to the 29’s and overall size?
I would prefer smaller.

Feel?
And anything else I might be missing?

Or Kyoei MB’s?

Thanks
I didn’t like the black coating on the PDGs. It seemed to take away from the feel that the raw Flatbacks offered. The PDG shape is quite good. The Kyoei MBs are Flatbacks minus the offset plus a sole grind. The Kyoeis are my favorite here.

    Good Job
Those look bad a$$
How’s the offset on the shorter irons?
Only issue I have withe Kyoei MB is that there
isn’t a 3i offered in a set.
I’m going back and forth between the Kyoei and the 2010’s
That’s the amazing thing about raw irons. Dip them in black oxide and they look brand new again!

I have been impressed with the durability of the black ox finish. I only dipped them once about a dozen rounds ago. Equal number of range sessions. I’m only refilling them now because I decided I don’t want any paint fill. I Want them all black.

Yururi PDG is sweet but you lose some distance from 1/2 to a club

That’s only because of the loft differences.

If I go from my MP 29’s to the PDGs I won’t give up any distance
But if I go to the FBs I’ll gain some
Win Win either way
Went with the Flatbacks
TSG didn’t have what I was looking for and was also told
KK is coming out with an updated version and didn’t want to wait.

I’m sure I’ll pick up the new KK’s when they come out

Thanks for the reply’s
