Update to my post above - I received my pair of Knits in time for my weekend trip, even though UPS lost a day with a delivery snafu. Very very happy with the customer focus from their customer care team.

 

I sized up to the 11 and I’m extremely satisfied with them after the first round. They grip great considering they’re spineless, and I got several compliments from folks who didn’t even realize they were made for the course. They handled dew quite well, I never felt wet socks.

 

I plan on using a coupon code to buy either another pair of these or the Outsiders later this year. The Knits will be worn as much off the course as they are on the course.

I love True's and plan to buy a pair of Original's as soon as I can make up my mind on color lol. I wear a 11.5 in the Sensei and 12 in True Motion's...should I go 12 in Original?

If it means anything to you at all, I always waffle when it comes to half sizes and being forced into whole sizes. Some shoes work better slightly tighter, some looser.

 

The True Knits work better looser for me, so I sized up. Originals COULD be different since leather might stretch, but I think bigger is the safer bet.

 

The smart move is buy both and then that way you can compare apples to apples and return the one you don’t like. Assuming you can spare $150 for a few weeks.

Ordered a pair of Originals in Nine iron grey. I hope they hold up better than my True motions which are cracking badly after a handful of rounds.

I have three pairs of the Originals and one pair of the Knits. All four are size 11. The Originals are slightly wider than the Knits, but it works out perfectly because I don't wear socks with the Knits.

 

The Knits have rapidly become my favorite summer shoe. Light, breathable and perfect for a summer afternoon. Look good just kicking around the club or bar as well.

I have also noticed the knits are not as wide as previous shoes. Exchange is very easy, I sized up once and eventually did a full return so no worries on that.

 

Can anyone speak to any fit differences between the knits and outsider or originals? Knits were just too narrow for my feet, hoping their other stuff runs wider.

I'm really disappointed in my Original's. The leather is peeling after 1 round where I walked 9 and rode 9. This after I got gotta refund for a pair of True Motion's because they cracked so bad after a few rounds that water was getting in. At least they're comfortable with great traction.

I've had these for about a week and they're my new favorite shoes. I was going to wear them to play last week, so I wore them at work. Now I think they'll see the office way more often than the golf course.

They took care of my wifes sizing issue with the Knits and it was painless. Actually they shipped her a new pair before they even received her return.

I contacted them this morning and just sent pictures. They are the most comfortable golf shoes I've worn! Did you put any leather products on yours? Maybe it's the saddle soap I used?

I didn't put any product on them. Just took them out of the box, put them on, and went and played in them.

Are the knits still good for wide feet? My feet are relatively small, I wear an 8 in most brands, but wide in the balls of my feet. I loved the Sensei because of the wide toe box, it's so hard for me to find shoes that fit right! I have read as much as I can find and I understand that they are narrower...but how much? My favorites right now are New Balance NBG574 in 8 wide...can anyone offer any insight into how the knits should fit?

They are still pretty wide in the toe box but they don't seem to be as wide as their previous models. I have fairly narrow feet so everything feels a bit loose to me, but, I did notice the knits feel less wide than other Trues. I would consider them to still be wider than other golf shoes though.

I got a pair of the grey knits early and used them all summer--amazing shoe. Definitely go sockless, they handle the dew pretty well sockless, but things get a little damp if wearing socks. The grip is awesome as well. I actually just ordered a pair of of the Outsiders in hopes they will be a fall/winter option and even half as good as the Knits.

 

Anyone know if True is coming out with new models anytime soon? Would really like to see them offer a more classic golf shoe looking option with all of their tech included!

Just received my Linksoul Edition pair. Very nice and very comfortable. Only worn in the house to make sure they fit right and we have snow on the ground already, but I can’t wait to try them out on the course in the Spring!
