How often do you change your driver?

Lord knows I try hard, and I have bought at least 8 drivers since the Ping G25 went into the bag, but the G25 keeps finding a way back in.

 

I’ve had my G25 since early 2013. Since then I tried the Callaway 815 and Epic but G25 is back in the bag again.

Been playing my TaylorMade RBZ Tour since it came out, I just don’t hit anything better

 

Hell yeah, man!! I'm still playing an RBZ 2.0. I had a 10.5° originally, then last fall I saw a 9.5° one on a local used site for $50, I ended up getting it for $40.

 

Having my best driving season ever. Not too often I play with someone who hits it longer (though it has happened a few times). I can't justify $500 for something that I hit a few yards further.

 

I always say my yards per dollar ratio cannot be touched. $40!!! Love this goddamned driver.

Started the year with a Ping G LS. Brief dalliance with a 917 D3. Short affair with a Cobra F8+. Went steady with a Rogue SZ for a while, but now moved on to a PXG 0811X.

Buy the Ping G400 Max.... you’ll think you married a super model.

I got into the habit of changing driver basically every year. Sometimes faster if something didn’t work out. That being said, I bought a 2016 M2 late in 16. It’s still in the bag. I tried the Epic and the Rogue, 2017 M2, M4 and M3...nothing has beat it yet.

I don't change as often as the typical WRXer for sure. I like to buy used drivers at a great price so that if they don't work out there is no big loss. I bought a lightly used 913 D3 back in 2015 and am still using it. I would really like to get fit and try out Ping's latest offerings.

 

Same here can't seem to get the D3 out of my bag.

Upgraded every other Ping model driver since the G10, waited a year extra and got the G400 recently.

My son still plays Titleist 910 i gave him years ago, won’t upgrade and even bought a backup.

He just rips it, stock Diamana stiff shaft D2.

Not often at all, usually, but twice this season.

 

Replaced my Titleist 975J 12.5º with a GX7 14º,

 

and then replaced that with a (T)Less 13º.

 

But I sincerely doubt that there will be any others, maybe ever. What would be the point?

I try them all but rarely switch. Played XR16 Pro for a while and finally switched to TS2. Before that was a 915 D2 and 905R when Titleist released them.

I'm about three years right now. Bought the first M1 when it released and just bought an M3. I don't see much difference year to year. It's more a look/feel for me

Played Adams Fast12 LS for the last 6 years.

Just bought a Srixon z785.

i change until i find something I really really like. Sometimes it's 3 times a year. Sometimes it's once every 5 years. I've had the g400 LST since it's release and I haven't found anything that's better for my game so far. I've heard some positive things about the new srixon z785. Actually disappointed that I didn't get on the "no up charge tinsei" deal.

In 2010 I bought a new 2009 Burner TP on discount. I went from that to a Cobra Bio Cell Pro and then to a Cobra F7+ last year. So, for me, looks like about every 3-4 years.

Been playing the 913 for about 3 years now. Had a Biocell initially but decided to swap it out. Now thinking about switching the 913 out now that more tempting options are out. (M3 and TS3 being the top contenders!)

Usually after 2-3 years. Usually I change because of changes in my strength and flexibility. I may change shafts 1 to 2 times a year experimenting.
