Forgiving Straight Hybrid... Recommendations?

Looking for a high launching, forgiving, game improving style hybrid from the previous few years. Really like the Cobra but I haven't tried any of the other offerings between OEMs... Suggestions?

 

Looking to bridge the gap between 5 iron and 5 wood. I'm about a 12 cap and low ball hitter. Something that wants to fly high is ok with me.

I would recommend the Ping G400 if you fit into one of their loft and lies.

 

Otherwise I'd recommend an adjustbale hybrid like the 818 H1 or Rogue hybrid.

I love my G20s. More ironlike than normal which I prefer. The offset takes some getting used to, but the visual of the club head at address really allows me to make a confident swing down on the ball.

Taylormade M4. IMHO it was an all star in the lineup this year. It's super easy to elevate and it just wants to go straight. I paired mine with the Proforcw V2.

The TM M3 and the Callaway Epic were quite good for me. I would say the Epic was the longer and straighter of the two despite the additional degree of loft.

Just got a Jpx 900 and it is soo easy to hit. Able to adjust loft and lie angle to make sure you get the flight you desire. Can get them for less than $100.

Any G400 owners - can you comment on the feel? that's going to be important for me. less than distance alone as im just trying to fill a gap between 4i and 3w.

Another vote for the G400. Super forgiving, anti-left, and good feel for a hybrid. It replaced an 816 H2 which I really liked but had a dull feeling off the face. The head on the G400 is a bit large but was not difficult to adjust to. Have it paired with a Tensei Pro White and it’s money.

ping g400 4 hybrid with stock shaft. The combo is so good. The face sits very square at address and provides me with confidence that im not gonna turn it over to the left. The shaft seems to produce a high launch mid to low spin type. Perfect for me.

Feel and sound are pretty good. You should go hit the 19 degree. Whatever hybrid you choose, make sure you get the right shaft and right weight.

Lucky!! I have hooked more hybrids ob than driver this year. I wish I got along with mine because when I hit it well it’s an absolute weapon out of the rough.

 

OP- for a real value option, take a look at the last couple of Adams releases. TM is still releasing those clubs, just with a new paint job.
