I'll never live anywhere that doesn't have a 12 month golf season.

You Americans are lucky to have the opportunity to chose. Canadians (and us Swedes) doesn't really have that opportunity unless we would decide to move to a different country :(

Well, moving to a place in the USA where it snows, to a place that doesn't practically is like moving to another country.

I had to go to Mobile, AL for work last year. Those guys practically speak a different language.

Roll Tide!

At least there are a ton of awesome golf courses there.

Does that really end your season? Like, do the courses close?

courses usually close here end of October anyway. This will take five days to melt. And it’s supposed to snow another 10 inches early next week. Seems like the end to me ...

How do you get to +2.9 living in a place where it snows in early October?

usually play 40 rounds per winter in the states

Considering I am usually a decent part of those 40 rounds, I can vouch for both.

It was a 5 month season instead of the usual 7. Chances are most courses will just close, other than the usual goat tracks. Too much debris down due to snow weight. Blow out lines, get the tarps down.

That was a real shock

The course in your avatar will probably re-open. They’ll probably try to charge $140 around on November 3rd!

Glenneagles really tries to work you! Usually they’re clear of the snow pretty quickly there though because they face south and get a lot of sun .
