Ping G410

Anyone know if the hybrids still have turbulators?

I too am interested in hearing more about the hybrids. I have the G400 driver and don't think I can improve upon that. I do need a new hybrid though and hopefully ping makes it adjustable with more than 2 shaft offerings.

$250 for a G400 Max? Yes please.

Don't think the max is being replaced. It was released on a different schedule.

G400 Max will not be replaced so price will not change.

So someone said there would be more info after the Ryder Cup, any word?

Would love to see more info on the adjustability?

Will there finally be a carbon crown Ping driver?

Precise. The G400 LS I have goes nowhere under any condition. Below that... well, that's very much up for debate. Especially a hybrid that will adjust. Low for summer, high for winter!

14 Pings. Blueprints are incredibly good. Fetch is the most underrated putter on the market. Don't @ me.

A proper headcover as well?

Also wondering about the G400 iron replacement, hollow? Or core eye still?

Great question. Was wondering if anyone else has information on it.

Yes. Still Core Eye tech. But the cavity badge is covering it totally this time, so you won't see it like you do on the G and G400 irons.

Can't wait!

Any idea when we will see photos?

G400 iron replacement is going to be a smaller, more compact and less offset head but more forgiving. They got rid of the tuning port and the face is thinner to promote better ball speeds.

Crossover coming will be smaller, thinner top line. More i500 merged with old crossover.

G410 drivers will have new adapters that allow 1.5* of movement, and can flatten the lie angle. Hybrids will have the adapter as well.

If I remember correctly, Ping bought 5 Nike Golf patents, I really really hope they got the Nike's best in business Flexloft adapter and that can adjust face angle independent of loft setting.

I didn't care much for it. That thing looked absolutely huge. If they could somehow deliver that in a more streamlined package, that would be alright. But, to this point, they have taken a pretty minimalist approach.

I only saw pictures of it and was briefed quickly on the upcoming product line. I'm most excited about the fairway woods. It will be nice to see a lower spinning fairway wood without having to go the Stretch route. The Crossover will be a solid club, assuming they get the sound/feel right.

From what I saw...

Was so so on the G410 iron. Looked a little like a Wilson design in the back. Better execution, but still clearly a Ping G400 heritage.

Crossover was so much better looking than this years. More compact heel to toe and not as shovelie (is that a word?).

G410 driver Looked good. Adaptor was similar to the current but with more adjustment as noted above. Turbulators still there. Crown is different without the dragon-fly on the top but a "ridge-turbulator" on each side going to the back end. Weight is moveable. It is either in the back (neutral) or on either side (fade, draw). It doesn't slide. That part also looked clean but leaves two open screw spots on the ones not used. Assume that different weights are available.

G410 fairway and hybrid adaptors looked HUGE on the head. Not a fan and essentially the same looking head as before but the adaptor detracts from the looks. Replaceable weights on the rear sole.

Adaptors were not Nike in design.

Was the driver a similar shape/footprint to the G400 or did they go back to the G30/G size/shape from years past?
