Stay tuned later this year for full specs, tech info and story.

This week at the Safeway we had 2 players put it in play.

Would you mind sending me a 6x for "testing purposes" over the next childr months here in Arizona? Been playing the Motore Speeder 7.2 Tour spec for years, but getting older and a slightly lighter shaft in the driver could be beneficial.

Figured it was worth asking.

Thanks!

Sorry, we'd love to, but we have extremely limited quantities now as we're months before our production batches arrive so we have to allocate them for Tour. Stay tuned to GolfWRX though as we'll certainly be doing some promos and you may have a chance to win one.

I like the clean graphics!

YES! I'm all for graphics like this vs the much busier ones. Love it, excited to hear about it.

Any idea if these are going to be more super premium shafts? Or more "every joe" shafts (ones I can afford).

I see mid/mid on the chart -- is this profile closer to the Atmos Blue than Black?

Tough one here for the obvious reasons (the variables in every driver, golfer, etc), but if we were to put it in a bucket, it would seem to slot in between the ATMOS TS blue and Black. We promise to have more information and testing results in the coming months and get you all, the GolfWRX community, involved to try Ventus for yourselves!

Thanks for your feedback on the Ventus design. We're very pleased with the results also, it looks really nice outdoors when the sun hits the paint and the silver decal.

As far as pricing, this will be a premium shaft offering in our collection as we have some very high cost material in Ventus. More details to come soon.

Any possibility of seeing the Ventus as an upgrade option with any of the OEM's in 2019?

You named it “wind” or “air” (in Latin).

Curious.

Correct. Do you like the name?

I’m actually not sure. I just put a set of Hankook Ventus tire on my Porsche two weeks ago, which I never imagined I would do as a bit of a tire snob, but I actually ended up really liking them.

I’m just not sure if I want my high end Fujikura shaft to remind me of my cheap Korean performance tires.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will definitely try to track one of these down when they become available!

Ventus will be exclusive to our Charter Dealers when we launch in early 2019. Anything beyond that is TBD.

I like it a lot, actually! Would be cool to see a whole line with latin words for elements (water, earth, fire, etc). I know UST Mamiya did this (in English) but I like Ventus and think using that category of names could be cool. Can't wait one!

Yes. Might be best to not name a driver shaft “water”. ; )

haha! I feel you on Aqua! But, the others are pretty cool!

I do think there is something to be said for consistency of naming or "families" of shafts. I actually chatted with the Fuji guys about this at the PGA Show (GREAT guys, FYI). I think Atmos was very understandable with the color coding. And, project X HZRDUS red, yellow, black. When every shaft has a completely unique name it can be confusing. Some "theme" is very wise. I think all companies are moving in that direction so the average guy/gal can understand the differences.

First impression, I am not crazy about the graphics, kinda looks very Plain Jane but I am coming from a "beaut" of a shaft like ATMOS Season Opener though.

However, it sounds like a nice improvement from the TS ATMOS if we are to judge the build material used. Look forward to seeing what else you have improved internally.

Can't wait to see if you guys will do a Season Opener, Patriot Editions like you have in the past - that will be so cool!

Excited but with raised eyebrows

UST already did use the Latin names. I have an Elements Ignis hybrid shaft and I've seen the Terra. I don't think ventus was used for those though.
