Taylormade P790 Gen2?

All I know is that I absolutely love my p790's. The replacement would have to be pretty incredible to get me to trade them in. Best irons I have ever owned.

 

I just demo'd the P790 (finally) and purchased on the spot... I don't care what their replacements are, the P790 is an amazing iron and just perfect for my game.

 

Same here - got fitted and ordered a custom set back on the 27th of September - the only issue - they won't arrive until the 29th of October. Can't wait....

I don’t care who "promotes" these irons, I know for a damn fact they’re not going in their bags and most definitely not making it in mine.

These irons have to be the most disappointing release by TM since, well, I won’t go there.

From the back, the few looks I’ve seen, they don’t look as clean as the P750 or P770. I’ll hold off judgement until I see more HD photos and/or see them in person. And to see a set of irons are going to be a disappointment prior to being released is an error in my opinion. The performance of these irons will make them or break them for Tour players.
