EPON AF-302 successor?

I haven't been paying attention to JDM clubs for a while but the 302's were some of my favorite irons. Does anyone know if there's an update to the 302 coming out?

I remember hearing a lot of people echo that sentiment when the CB's came out, which was pretty disappointing. I still have a set of 302 heads since I couldn't let them go.

Stick with and use your 302 heads - I wish I'd got a set for backup (in copper chrome before that was discontinued) to my 301s.

Should consider the new 505’s. More of an upgrade to 502’s but with a lot more game improvement built into the irons.

Seen some very nice AF 302 heads including this set while most i have seen in Japan and ebay are in very bad shape!

303 has been out for a while as the natural successor to 302

 

No news about 305 yet so not sure if it ends at 303.....

302 successor? Perhaps you may want to look at Grindworks now. It's where the man behind the show at. I believe 302 is his last magic touch at Epon. He moved to S Yard and created the legend 388 driver.

The grind works stuff is fantastic! Tario, nimi and kk...a modern 302, 503 and 703 r available...the grind works wedges are amazing as well...kind remind me of the chikaras only more forgiving....

 

Epon has been doing different things with their irons. 505s are sublime but totally diff player type than 302 target player. Not sure how u could improve the 302 for what it is***players cb ****

 

303 was really 401...P3 is 455 and 505 is really a 555 series iron. I honestly don’t see a true 30X series iron coming from epon for a while as they just don’t do that unless it’s a significant improvement over the previous flagship model....

To me, they look more like 303 replacements which are a little bigger than the 302's from my understanding. I saw some pics and I'm a bit underwhelmed with the looks, but I'm sure they're still going to be great clubs.
