Taylormade P760 (Pics Added)

These look great from the top line. I am not a fan of the look of the back cavity but at address you will not see it. These look 100 times better in the playing position than the 790s in my opinion. These clubs will sell. This is a "mixed" set with forged scoring irons and speed foam in the longer iron packed into a smaller profile. Amazing people have not hit them and already write them off. Same reaction when pics surfaced of the M1 and M2 drivers. Don't think tour guys are the demographic for this set, may see some 2/3/4 irons because they look better than the 790?

So the foam is only in the long irons? And the short-mid irons are forged? Does this mean the short-mids don’t have the screw in the toe?

7i up for the speed foam. Don’t believe there is a screw in the 8 down to Wedge.

Umm . . .NO! TM really missed the boat on those, no shelf appeal at all. I agree with the poster above, a simple shallow cavity with no markings and very offset to appeal to the purists and stamp the forging and call it done.

So far reactions as far as looks go, are from 'these are awful' , 'worst looking irons ever' to 'these aren't that bad'. Who at TM could've possibly signed off on this design. don't they get any kind of feedback?

I really liked what i saw in the p790, and thought the 760 would be exactly what i've wanted. but there is no way i'm going from j15cb which are some of the best looking irons to these things.

It's amazing how much analysis and negativity can come from a grainy Instagram Live video screenshot. I think we should all take a deep breath, relax and wait for some hi-res photos of the *finished* product before we pass judgment on these. Or better yet wait to see them in person? I've seen some better pictures of these on instagram and they look WAY better than the screenshot. I, for one, will definitely give these a shot since I love my P790 long irons and will probably be on the market next year for a replacement for my PSi's. They remind me a little bit of a blend of the old Nike Pro Combo OS - a club that I loved and it performed.

Better. Like I said, anything is better than the Insta Live shot - but personally I will wait to see and try them in person. I've always been performance over appearance anyway, so pictures are only about 20% of my personal evaluation equation.

I am on the fence on the pics .. Anyone know what material in in the cavity or the back of the irons .. wouldn’t mind trying them out . But would be hard pressed to beat out my p750s .. but if they are same make up should be a solid iron!!

From some of the pictures with better quality, it almost looks like there is no other material in the cavity. Just a different finish to the metal.

Interesting, looks like the lofts are almost identical to the Mizuno 919 Forged. Wish I liked the looks of these better, but I'll still add them to my testing list.

Definitely looks better in the shiels video compared to those dreadful instagram pics. The leading edge looks a bit wierd to me thou.

I am curious what they look like without the badge?. Wonder how long before TM makes interchangeable badges to give you a custom look or lower/higher ball flight? “I’m expecting a cut of the action TM!”
