I just wanted to say thanks to all of the members here commenting on how good this club is. Just got back from Palm Springs and used it for 3-4 rounds and wow it's impressive. It certainly does fit that gap of 3/4 wood & 2/3 hybrid, where I can't recall hitting anything else but this club in the 200-225 yard range. The stock shaft can use an upgrade but it's not that bad. I also have the F7 3-4 wood, but this one seems to be a lot easier to get off the ground from the fairway.

That may cause a problem if your 3H fits a certain distance gap. With both set at 19, my baffler (235) was about 20+ yards longer than my 3H (215). I play it at 16.5 currently and it's in the 240-250 yd range for me.

Most all the reviews of this club are from people who got some sort of free shaft upgrade put it (HZRDUS, Tour Blue, Elements, etc.)

 

Has anyone gamed one with the Red Tie installed? Tempted, but not quite sure atm....

The stock is ok. Little loose maybe.

 

Lots of people put hybrid shafts in it. I have one with an Elements 75 fairway shaft and one with a Tour Blue 85 hybrid shaft.

 

I guess there aren't any issues with putting a hybrid shaft adapter into this fairway adapter? I guess if they are both the same size that should be ok? I just have a few spare hybrid and fairway shafts, so will experiment around with this one.

Fairway adapter is .355. Cobra Hybrid adapter is .370. You need to get a hybrid or heavy fairway shaft that fits into .355.
