It's after October 1 so its winter rules and I declared the leaf rule and improved my lie. Playing an Indian guy in IT who didn't push me when I asked if a putt was "good". Classic stuff LOL.

His father Tom Strange was part owner and head pro at a golf course in Virginia Beach. I think Curtis knows a little bit about it.

 

I don't believe for a second that CPG is Curtis though.

Ohh CPG is one of the funniest out there! I wish he would make more youtube videos. Would be really cool if CPG and Ace made a course vlog.

I cant wait to get my "El Chapo's taint; the toughest 2 hole stretch in Mexico" T-shirt. The guy is probably a very good golfer. In the 30 Fore 30 he made it looked like him in the background hitting balls and it was definitely no beginners swing.

I have not seen any of his videos or follow him on social media. I only heard the No Laying Up podcasts and thought he sounded just like Curtis Strange. In the video you referenced he doesn't sound like him at all or look like him. I'm still sticking with it being CS but I totally get why I would be the only one in that camp. ;-)

I will admit that Beem does have a physical resemblance to CPG.

 

Doing a little research, Beem lived in Panama and the southwest for a while and traveled to Juarez, played mini tours, married a woman that sounds a little like Tawny (her name is Tanya and worked in the grillroom of a restaurant named Westward Ho) and has had some crazy experiences before getting on the PGA Tour. His caddie dated a stripper. All of that could be the background of CPG.
