wow great pictures ...how was sleepy hollow relative to the other great tracks you played ?

Sleepy is a great course. They are continually making changes to the course, enlarging greens. removing trees. In the past year they re-did the first hole. Of the ten courses above, I think the only one I like more than Sleepy is Cabot Cliffs.

national membership at Sleepy would be sweet ....having CB MacDonald and Tillinghast combo pretty unique

Smugglers Glen in Gananoque, Canada. Surprised this doesn't get more praise as it's an excellent club. I don't think there's a bad hole on the course.

Pine Needles Resort - I forgot the joy of Carolina golf in the pines. Great facility and a fine golf course.

Shadowridge Golf Club (Vista, CA). I really dug this course a lot. No bad holes, some old school design features. Just a blast to play.

Hillcrest CC (Los Angeles). Old school course. The members hated #3, #10 and #17 and they are all going to be re-designed. I actually liked 17. Course was in phenomenal condition.

La Gorce CC (Miami Beach) Jack Nicklaus design. Just a fun course to play. Too bad the wind was blowing 30 mph that day. I don't think I've ever been on a course that rolls out the red carpet for you like La Gorce does.

2018 Has been a pretty good year for me, not as nice as it has been to some of you (Fairway Fred) but a solid year.

1. Tribute Golf Links (Colony, TX)

2. Dallas Athletic Club 36 Holes (Dallas, TX)

3. Centennial Golf Club (Carmel, NY)

4. World Woods 36 Holes (Brooksville, FL)

5. Meadowbrook Golf Club (Richmond, RI)

Biggest let down of a course was TPC Tampa, found it to be over priced (Duh) the layout is kinda boring, it's in a community so all you're looking at are other peoples back yards, if you're in FL spend an extra day at World Woods opposed to going over to TPC.

Baltusrol

Cypress point

LACC

Essex County

Seminole

socal - how would u rank the overall experience from most to least enjoyable (guessing cypress most ....baltusrol least)....thanks

Cypress is amazing as expected. Easy #1

Essex County #2 which probably is surprising but I really enjoyed the course and loved the overall layout and feel. Takes you through the entire bag

LACC #3, great mix of holes with a fair amount of risk reward holes

Seminole #4 and to be honest the most disappointing of the group simply due to the mystique I had built up in my head, pretty short and not very challenging. Appreciate the history and what not.

Baltusrol #5 but already knew it wasn’t going to compare to the first 3. It’s more challenging than Seminole but doesn’t have the setting that Seminole does. Upper course is better and more challenging than the lower in my opinion despite the lower having all the majors etc.
