Wow I really got shafted... cheap hardcover and wrong model! Pretty annoying

I received that same black magnetic cover for my gold E1. It's a fairly tight squeeze but nice headcover!

 

I love the putter, hate the round grip. Not sure what I'm going to try for a grip on it, but man I love the feel of the putter itself.

What a steal this was.

 

I thought I would dislike the grip as well, but it makes me focus a lot since it has such a different feel than I'm used to. I do love the way the putter rolls and how square the face stays throughout the stroke.

Same. Have the E-1 and going to give the round grip a try first. It seems to promote a looser grip (for me).

I received my E-1. I tried out the round grip but I didn't like it. I replaced it with a SuperStroke Flatso 3.0. I added 25 grams of lead tape under the grip to give it a slightly greater swing weight. Feels really good so far. BTW the round grip was 102 grams.

I knew heel balanced would feel different from face balanced or toe balanced, but wow - it's a huge difference.

 

Not sure if I can adjust to the feel of swinging this putter or not. The thing is, I've been a crappy putter all year with a face balanced putter, so maybe feeling different/weird during the stroke will end up being a good thing?

My club shipped from Arizona last Wednesday, and the club went to NC before coming back to Washington. Hmm.... 9 days instead of the customary 2-3 days. FedEx said "it got on the wrong truck, sorry"... Hope to see it Friday.

Any time I see a club in the wrapper on the BST, I just assume it's someone flipping for a profit.

 

I also actively hope that no one buys it, and they get stuck with a huge glut of inventory.

Normally I don't have an issue people discover a good deal, and flip for a few bucks. You do the work and get rewarded.

 

What I do have an issue with is when someone posts a good deal meant to benefit the community, someone else takes advantages of that and try to flip, thus taking away the opportunity for someone else who would actually benefit. Unfortunately these days too many such flippers hawking all deal sites, and that's why I don't even bother posting any deals anymore. I just refuse to feed the flippers.

oh, to be sure, there’s more than that. The 4-5 are the ones that might be taken to the course. The other 20 are just for the basement carpet =)

Played around at the local PGA SS with the e2 and e3, both in the gold finish with gold shafts. I liked the look of the e3 but liked the perceived (?) heavier feel of the e2. Great putters for the price but I passed.

I got chastised for doing the Sunfish mystery sale, getting a few awesome HCs and trying to sell them for a profit. According to one of the members, I should have sold them for pretty much what I paid. I figured I took a chance (mystery sale) and it paid off. If I got a bunch of duds I would have sold them for cheap but they were solid HCs at cheaper than MSRP.

I made a few mid range puts with mine. Takes a little adjustment to get comfortable with the round grip.

In my books, what you did was OK. The mystery sale wasn't much of a secret, or something someone "discovered". From what I understand it's something they do pretty regularly. BTW, I got chastised too with the R&F mystery sale because I was upset that dud I got was substandard. LOL It's more like someone comes across some one time special deal and want to share with everyone, only to have it all scooped up by people buying only wanting to make a few bucks.

 

In any case, I don't want to turn this into another flipper debate thread. To each their own, and we all know who they are.

 

Back on topic. I am pretty sure I would have grabbed one if I got myself off my lazy butt and make the one hour drive to PGASS. Then at the same time, this club ho really shouldn't be buying more stuff... so.. anyone tired of your experiment yet? LOL

Took a ride to check out inventory. They have 4 left it looks like. Two rose gold, mallet and blade, and two silver, mallet and blade. Typical floor model condition with some dings.

WOw I am amazed that they still have some left.
