Cut Golf balls

ordered the bulk on amazon. disappointed theyre all shipped in 3 ball sleeves as opposed to the dozen boxes

yea, thought that was weird too. Honestly, I'm not sure at their volume how much a box would cost, but if it works out to less than $1/dozen, i'd gladly pay it.

I just received a dozen of the Cut Blue and a dozen of the Grey through the Amazon Prime special. Each dozen came as four loose sleeves.

That's how I got mine, would be nice to be in a box but I guess that's part of what keeps the prices down

I might check these out. I’m not understanding the box part. The whole order comes in one “shipping” box together with individual sleeves of balls? Just want to make sure I’m not getting 2-3 shipments like what so many companies are doing now. Thanks.

Just got my Cut Grey and Cut Blue trial sleeves in the mail along with the Vice trial pack. Have to say the Cut balls win the looks test hands down. Both feel and look like high quality golf balls, but upon further inspection the Vice balls have a noticeable seam down the middle which is a big no no for me in this day and age. You can't claim to be just like a ProV1 and then have a seam. Those have been gone for years now. On top of that the alignment aid doesn't even line up with the seam. Definitely a quality control issue I noticed there. Excited to put them both through the paces either way to see what performance is like, but on unboxing Cut is the winner for sure.

Played the Cut Gray and the orange ball yesterday. Absolutely loved the Gray. Felt soft off the irons. Spin is not a huge part of my game, but I was able to stop the ball where it landed. The orange ball was also nice off the irons. It did feel a little more harsh off the driver. I felt the Gray was longer than the orange. Will definitely pick up more Gray in the future.

Put another round in yesterday with the Cut White. Still my favorite in the line, great feel! Are you still working to get it on the conforming ball list or will it be disappearing from the line soon? If there are no plans to get it conforming I may have to switch over to the Grey which is also a great performing ball but just slightly softer than I prefer.

Just played my first round with the Cut Blue. Overall, I was very pleased with the look, feel, and performance of this ball. I'm switching over from Q Star Tours (which I like) and 2017 Chromesofts (which I can't find). While playing the round, I had a few " a ha" moments. The first was on a 25 yd chip which I thinned. The ball checked up and rolled to three feet. Normally that shot would have easily rolled off the other side (Donald Ross design with small sloping greens). I typically try to hit high full and half shots in, but the check of this ball offers a bit more versatility in shot selection. I played several more low chips and had the same results.

The ball bites as well as anything else that I have played, and I'm happy anytime I can save strokes in my short game. I have a sub 100 swing speed and noticed no difference in feel or distance. It's also worth mentioning that I did not notice any of the QC issues that were mentioned earlier. I'm planning to play this ball for the foreseeable future.

As I said in an earlier post I should have ordered Greys instead of Blue being a higher spin player. Put one in play for the last 5 holes this past weekend for a good test. Par 5, 4, 4, 3, and a 4 to finish. I'm reluctant to try the Grey ball as the Blue did fine with a few knockdowns, couple of wedge shots and felt great off putts. Sneaked one on 18 @ 324 yards off a fade, so it can fly also.

324 off a fade drive? Nice shot! :bb:

This is WRX. Everyone hits 324 yard fades on here. LOL!

I hit one the other day. Dang it if it didn’t hit me from behind.

I have played both on numerous occasions. The Duo U is considerably softer with a thinner urethane cover. Distance and spin are similar from driver through wedge in my opinion. The Duo U is perhaps the best feeling ball on the market. Pretty good sale for them from Hurricane Golf right now. It is worth the try at $12.50 per dozen.

I saw that deal which is why I was wondering. The Cut Grey is still softer than I prefer so I don't think moving to an even softer Duo U would be a good idea.

So there’s a ton of people who have reviewed the Blue’s on here, but I’ll say why I’m now bagging the grey’s. I ordered the urethane trial pack and played 3 rounds with both. I am a mid handicap with a high swing speed (115mph+ driver). The Blue’s simply spun too much, I’d have a great approach shot, land it pin high only for it to spin back 10yds. The spin and control around the greens was great but I did not like the amount of spin from 150yds and in. With the Grey’s I would hit the same shot only for it to hit and stick or spin a yard back at most. I didn’t notice too much difference in the green side spin. They both felt good off the driver when I put a good swing on it, with the Blue ballooning up a little more than I wanted. The grey had a great, penetrating flight. I really enjoyed the sound the grey made off the irons, really made you feel like you got it flush and crushed it. Off the putter, they felt the same to me. I bought 3 dozen Grey’s. In the past I have played project A, and the Grey’s to me, felt much better. Also the cover is very durable. Put 36 holes on one grey, a few drives into the trees, full wedge shots with brand new wedges and it was still good to go until the 37th hole tee off sliced into the woods to be gone forever. Thanks Cut for a great ball at an even better price.

Thanks for your review Sky! I’m waiting for some Grey's and they should be here tomorrow. I read a lot of good things about these balls, so I’m looking forward to give them a try.

Finally got my Grey’s and they are awesome. They go a long way, not hard, and react well on the greens. This ball is pretty good and a bargain.

Haven’t played with the Blue but got my trial sleeve today. It appears to be identical to the Snell MTB-Red but for a

Better price! Will test them out next weekend hopefully.

Loyal Gamer and Gamer soft player looking for replacement.

Vice Pro was good but felt hard and clicky. Will try the Cut Grey.

Want to try the Cut White, but they never seem to be in stock.

Curious about the compression and feel of both. Anyone in a similar situation? Any feedback?

I have a large amount of Gamers in White I picked up on clearance. More than I need. If you are interested in some I could part with some for cost + shipping

I'm in the same boat. Cut White is a perfect replacement. The only problem is it's non-conforming and Cut is discontinuing it. The Cut Matte is supposed to be similar but they don't come in white, only yellow, orange and pink. The Cut Grey is a decent ball but too soft for my liking. My season is all but done here in Michigan so when the spring arrives I'll go back to the drawing board. I'm guessing I'll end up playing the Cut Matte in yellow. I'm gonna order some over the winter for putting/chipping indoors.

Thanks for the tip I didn't realize the whites were discontinued I guess I'll try the Grey's and if not I'll find another brand for three piece non urethane.
