I think you can dial the loft down to 17 but it will change the lie angle so maybe you don’t want to.

Have you thought about an 18 degree or 16.5 fairway instead. Loft that up or down ? Just a thought.

Maybe a little less forgiving than the H1, but, by no means difficult to hit quality shots with. I would consider myself a lower ball flight player and have found the H2 17 quite easy to play. I'm using the same Tour AD DI 85 since the 915H. It has been in a 915hD and an 818H1 also. The added ability to change the head weight should also offer a little extra help with shot shape if you need it. I can't imagine that you would disappointed in the performance. Plenty of adjustment to find a setting that will be favorable.

H2 has a different shape than the H1. I went in wanting an H2 and ended up preferring the shape of the H1. Furthermore performance wise the H1 should launch higher than the H2.

Both are nice, but I I would hit both in the lofts you want to make sure performance and yardage gaps are appropriate.

I was facing the same dilemma. Thought my game would be better served with and H1, but no 17d. option. I bought the H2, and glad I did. Not difficult to hit at all. Have no problem elevating it. In fact has the perfect flight. Best feeling and sounding hybrid I've ever owned. They're not cheap, but this one will be in the bag for a long time to come.

I actually find the H2 easier to hit than the H1.

The H2 is a little more iron like and I find that the contact that I make with it is a lot better. That said, the H2 hasn't been able to get the 915Hd out of my bag, absolutely love that thing.

If you hit fairways better go H1, if you hit long irons better go H2.

Do you know you need 17* and 21* specifically? To me it seems that if you like the H1 you would be better served with it and set it at 18*. Unless you know exactly that your gaps/distances necessitate those lofts you may be better with the one you really like and 1* off what you think you need. Just a thought.

I have the 818 H2 in 17*. I think it’s beautiful and feels nice, but still just so, so.

This year I switched to the P790 irons and my 21* four iron is so much longer than my previous four iron, I had to change my next longer club too since there was not enough gap to make sense now. First I changed to a G400 5 wood and kind of loved it, but it went super high for me, even with a low launch shaft and set to the lowest loft. If the wind was just the slightest against me, I hit it so high it was shorter than my 4 iron.

I have owned a higher lofted version of the H1 hybrid before and really liked it, but since I wanted the 17* to be sure it was a good bit longer than my four iron, I got the H2 instead.

Initially I really liked it, and I have hit some really good shots with it. But looking back at the season now and trying to be completely honest with myself, I’m quite sure it’s been the most inconsistent club in my bag this year. I’m a decent player (hover around 3-4), but I think this club is just slightly too demanding for me. I gave up on low lofted driving irons a couple years ago since I think I hit too many bad shots with them to be worth it, and the H2 probably is easier for me than those, but not by much. It’s totally fine from the tee though.

Next year, I think I might look into getting a slightly larger, more wood-like hybrid in 17/18*, or try to get a shorter shafted, lower launching five wood to work. If I was dead set on a hybrid from Titleist, I’d get the 19* H1 and set it to the least amount of loft possible. I’m sure the higher lofted H2’s are great though, just not what I personally need right now.

Also I just wanted to add, for me personally, I could not swing the 17* H2 the same way as I do a long iron, even though it’s said to be played more like a long iron. I definitely had to put a much flatter swing on the ball, just like I would a fairway wood. Might just be me though, don’t know.

I have gone back and forth between the 17 degree H1 from the previous iteration and the 17 degree 818h2. I own both. I have definitely been more consistent with the H1 and set at max fade, I have never hooked one unintentionally which is my miss with the hybrid. The h2 goes a little further for me but also can go left which I don't love. It has a little flatter ball flight which I dont mind but I just feel more comfortable with the H1.

Not entirely helpful, i realize.

I love the 19* H1 as a 5 wood equivalent and the 23*H2 as a 4 iron equivalent. The H1 really lends more to a fairway wood swing whereas the H2 is more iron like.

If i were you I’d consider these and crank them wide open. Not ideal, but pretty good!

Just did a fitting for a new hybrid. Went into it thinking I’d be getting the H1. Surprisingly I launched the H2 higher. I was hitting the 21* H2 as far as the 19* H1. First tried it with the EvenFlow Blue but it ended up turning over too easily. The fitter put me in the Atmos Tour Spec HB Blue 8S and put the draw setting in the cartridge and A1 hosel setting. 220-230 with about 3200-3500 Spin perfect for attacking short par 4’s and going for it on par 5’s
