Anyone still play the diamana D+ white board?

I've loved it in my hybrids. Put the 80 in my 3 wood. Liking the 60 x in my driver. I don't think it's considered too sexy at this point but seems to work for me. Just wondering if I'm missing out on an upgrade somewhere. Contemplating toying around with a 70 in the driver and a 90 in a driving iron if anyone's tried that.

Played the D+ 70x in my DBD 816 A, had to turn the loft up to 11 but it was a killer combo, still have it in the spare bag.

Damn you for starting this topic, thinking of pulling it out for a test run at the range now.

Love my current setup but will take the D+ for a spin soon.

A lot has been said about the Tensei range & the general concenses is that they are a step up.

Is it worth an upgrade????

Not for me it’s not, as I don’t feel they will give me 20y more or improve on my fairways hit which currently averages around 10-12 / round. But for anyone else it might be worth a look, the D+ is solid shaft though.

If you like it & it works, stick with it, I’ve been down this road of having a winning combo only to chase something else with shafts that don’t suit my swing & going backwards.

If you can hit another combo without much expense then try it.

A friend sold me his D+ 63, put it in a Cobra F6+ last year. Still in the bag...for now.

Yeah I don’t really want to go down the shaft rabbit hole so probably stick with. Been trying a few driving iron shafts and that’s been a pain. Think I’m gonna get a D+ 90 and see what happens there. Been working with all my other long clubs. They just seem to produce a penetrating flight, not too much spin while still having a nice feel.

I have the D+ 60 gen 2 in my M2 driver and love it. Very accurate and stable. I played the 70 D+ gen 2 in my 915D3 but went a little lighter in my M2 to try to increase some swing speed. To me it is hard to be Diamana shafts. I have the S+ gen 2 in my 3 wood and hybrid as well. It is a fantastic shaft for the money.

Although I really like the PX Hzrdus Yellow as well.

Follow up question for you guys. What iron shafts do you think have a similar feel/ profile to the whiteboard?

The White profile has always been a classic tip stiff/mid stiff/butt soft design which is the same type of profile as the good ole' DG X100.

Although I LOVE my Kuro Kage DC Silver, I still can't seem to let go of the D+ Limited 70S that I experimented with. When I'm in "mid season form," it can be a beast paired with my Fly-Z+ or F8+ head. I've had to go back to the lighter and friendlier KK while I work on some swing tweaks in the beginning of the year. Right now I'm trying to decide whether to now look for the KK in a 70 gram, or the D+ in a 60, they both work so well for me for different reasons

Yeah, I'd say the X100 is a good match. I gamed those for years, but now play C-Taper 125 S+ in my irons.

Still have a D+ 72 out of a 913 D2... put a Ping tip on it and have had really good results in my G400 MAX. It was said much earlier on, but a comparison was made to the HZRDUS Yellow... I was thinking the exact same thing. Tip feels a little softer in the yellow to me but a very similar feel and performance. Really great shaft.

I play the d+ 70x in my xr16 pro. It’s a great shaft!

Older post bump but I was hitting this combo in the sim last night and the shaft felt great. Typically I wouldn't quite find myself in a x stiff shaft as I'm typically in the 105ish swing speed and mid 150 ball speeds. The way this shaft loads seems to really fit with my swing. I was seeing balls speeds in the upper 150s with some north of 160. Dispersion was pretty good, no big left misses. Biggest problem was low launch though. Even with a 10.5 xr16 pro head turned up to 11.5 I was only getting 10-11ish degrees of launch. Not sure if that's more a shaft issue or a head issue?

80x in my 3wood.

Personally it reminds me more of the original whiteboard than the Ahina that I used in between.

Still relevant in my opinion
