It's crazy to think that whatever Paula earns won't count on the money list since she's here on a sponsor's invite.

Paula is No. 114 on money list. A majority of 101-150 players are playing Q-Series next week.

Paula will need to use Career Top 20 or something similar to extend her 2019 LPGA membership. Clearly, she's living on borrowed time.

Her game is still there. Once she sorts out her personal issues, she should have a better 2019 barring new injuries.

'No surprise to see Ariya at the top of the leaderboard. Danille's a shot behind, so perhaps last week's play was no fluke. Sei Young is also tied for 2nd. Lydia and Minjee are two back along with Paula, Ryann, Lizette, and Wenbo Liu.

Danielle must be a night owl; Asian time zones bring the best out her.

I don't know for certain, but I have to assume that Danielle was in Korean during the International Crown just in case Michelle had to withdraw prior to the start of competition. She would have been the next player on the rankings list. If so, she's been in Asia for 3 weeks now.

I wonder now what MW is thinking from her hospital bed after admitting to her injury but sill denied Danielle the IC spot. Congrats Danielle on the W after a good tournament last week...nice run home from Lydia but the consistency is still not there. At least we got to see a little more of her during the 5 hours of live coverage we got each day here.

Thanks for spoiling the tournament for the people in the United States watching on Golf Channel.

I have learned that I shouldn't visit this site, or any golf site, if I have recorded a tournament and don't want to know who won. It's really not that hard to do.

Lesson learned!

I am sorry I spoiled it for you. If it's any consolation I am in the US and didn't get to watch live either. I know, it's no consolation.

No worries :-)

The post round "hugs" these girls exchange are done with such sincere insincerity it's no wonder Michelle Wie suggested they should just ditch them in favor of handshakes.

Edit: I heard she suggested it

Sweet! I [We interrupt this normally scheduled comment for this important public service announcement.

Players, if you are currently being coached by D. Leadbetter, slowly back away. You are in imminent peril. Your future depends on it. Seek shelter in any capable swing coach in your local vicinity.]

tuned in the broadcast, and saw that Danielle was one over for the front nine. Ugh. Here we go again. Luckily Ollie pulled Danielle aside at the turn, and helped clear her head. Danielle is simply too talented to have only two wins at this point in her career, but the best appears to be ahead. Gawd, she is such a good interview. I really hope that when her playing days are behind her she joins the broadcast team. She's a riot.

What a bizarre final round. While the third round leaders were treading water, a number of players made excellent charges to put themselves into the picture. 'Nice rounds by Lydia, Marina, Annie, and Wenbo. Wenbo definitely appears to be destined for success.

Ariya was definitely out of sorts today, but somehow she still managed a T2, and will likely regain the #1 spot in the world. Lol. What I wouln't give to have an "off" day and still grab a piece of 2nd.

Brittany A keeps knocking on the door, but she doesn't seem to have the top gear needed for the final round.

Carlota definitely can't seem to put together a solid final round when she's in contention. She not alone in this aspect of her game, though.

So, will Ollie lose the man bun next week? I can't imagine Danielle will actually make him go through with it. That bun is solid gold.

She has a bubbly likable personality, easy on the eyes, has pretty good game. For me she`s a bright spot in American Womens golf, let`s hope she can continue into 2019 and beyond.

like her better with dark hair but I guess that's the trend right now, Kang, Ko, Wie. Great game and glad she won again. 2 tournaments under Butch Harmon, 3rd and 1st so I guess whatever he did is working.

Argonne, yes,Ariya was not her usual self, maybe not feeling 100% or fatigued after the efforts of the last couple of weeks, too much golf is draining physically and the mental process can become frazzled so perhaps a rest would do her good to recharge the batteries.

A few players that played in the IC and Hana looked a bit run down.

The course looked tough, which also took it's toll. It was certainly no pitch and putt, although the birdies were out there if one was in the right spot on the green. Otherwise there were a lot of greens that didn't automatically yield a two putt.

Only 10 players shot better than 70 in the final round. There were 28 on Saturday. The pins didn't look all that different between the two days. Final round nerves?

Did they return the 14th tee to its normal spot, as it was moved up on Saturday. 12 players shot 70 in the final round, and one less birdie opportunity might be difference.

Whoever is behind it, I fully support it. Whenever I see LPGA players shaking hands on the 18th I feel good, like there are people actually striving to pull golf out of the 20th century and into the now, and into the realm of more taken-seriously sports. Don't get me wrong, real hugs are great. But fake, forced hugs have no place anywhere.

Danielle IMO might be the de facto best American women's golfer of right now. Also I don't know if bubbly is quite apt for Danielle, i feel like she would punch someone's arm for saying something like that.

I would argue she is the best right now, not even de facto.

Also I had no idea hugs were a policy. Sometimes it is great to see like when Lydia seemed genuinely very happy for In Gee the week prior; she lit up as much as In Gee after her last putt, was great to see. I say give the players the option to do whatever they want. Also Lydia was one of the ones dousing Danielle with champagne after, as much as is made of Lydia's "struggles," she sure has a great attitude on the course regardless.

At any rate, Ollie seems to be a great caddie fit for Danielle.

If you're ranking the best American golfer based on the last two weeks then sure give it to DK. But she missed the cut in 3 of 5 majors this year. J Korda has top 10s in 3 of 5 majors.

For me it's the swearing and the fingers, kind of crass :( But to each their own, that's gonna vary to person and place. I think she'd be a less ambassadorial face for US women's golf than say Lexi, but she brings other things to the table. It's neat she's such a live wire, no one could ever find her dull. Maybe she's like ... a Michelle / Cristie mix? Gah what have I wrought

After last thread, I now feel a need to disclaim that I am not inferring anyone else is dull.

Totally agree with others hoping the blonde dye trend fades. Totally no need.

I really like the hugs, when they're genuine at least. Love when you can tell they're really happy for the winner. But I'm a total softie and want the gals to be friends and enjoy playing together.

About Ariya being tired, I could see that even two weeks after the IC. Love Moriya and Porna, but Ariya really was the great champion bearing the whole country's hopes on her. She had to expand a lot of mental energy trying (and coming close) to making it happen.
