Callaway Epic vs Rogue Irons

I'm going to give callawaypreowned.com some money soon for a set of irons. I have narrowed my choices down to the Epic and Rogue irons. I am currently at a 10 handicap. The prices are preowned so I don't want cost factor to be an issue in the decision. Thank you for your opinions.

Never hit the epic but the Rogues I am big fan of.

 

I know you don’t want cost to be a factor but aren’t the epics 30% more expensive regardless? Doesn’t seem worth it.

Rogue Irons. Awesome. Very forgiving and long. Can't go wrong. Dumped G400's for the Rogue irons and have not looked back.

I had a set of G400 irons and was looking to replace them, tried the Rogues at my local golf shop and did not care for the feel. Wound up going with Launcher HB irons due to limited practice time with an elbow injury.

 

Fast forward several months and I could not stop hitting the Launchers fat and the elbow was improving and Callaway Pre-owned had a sale on the Epic irons so I decided to give them a shot. I can honestly say after having them for over a month and several rounds of golf I could not be happier. Distance control is great, the feel is good (not butter soft, but definitely pleasant).

 

I like these so much I have been looking to buy a backup set it I can get them at a good price. At the full retail I definitely would not recommend them, at the Callaway Pre-owned price I highly recommend them.

I have hit Epic irons at a couple of demo days. While they feel OK, I think they are overrated.

 

The Rogue or Rogue Pros would be my choice if I replace my irons this spring. Lively club, solid launch. Being you have a 10 HDCP, consider the Rogue Pros - better feel at impact.
