Its a private setting, no fans. Tiger and Phil in a high stakes money game with the same atmosphere as your Sunday game at the club...i love it.

 

However...i would have liked to have seen it under the lights in front of a massive live crowd as well.

Yes (and do I really have to explain this?) because this is a GOLF DISCUSSION board and I'm interested in all things golf. Just because I'm not going to subscribe to a made-for-TV staged promotion doesn't mean I can't inquire about the interest others might have, if that's all right with you.

As an avid golf fan, and someone who's thoroughly enjoyed watching Phil and Tiger as a part of my "regular" cable package over the past 20 years...YES I will pay $20 to see them in a head to head match.

 

Hopefully it delivers and isn't a corny, non-competitive event.

 

Who knows how many more times we will see these legends tee it up. Stop being such entitled wussbags and acting like you're too good to watch this.

I'm not offended by it, I just think the key to any sporting event is having some kind of stake. These guys are both not in their prime, there's nothing at stake. I would imagine though it's just a guess, that neither guy really cares that much if they win
